Surprised that this thread has been revived.
The company, Covered UK Ltd, appears to be dormant from their latest Companies House records. Additionally, the director (Jo-ann) who made initial comments on this thread resigned way back in 2004!

I saw a similar thing on email, so did a search and found this company, but you had to pay a registration fee, however as i had had no offers I asked for my money back and had no problems!!
Don't pay for anything like this on ebay without searching the internet or checking with your friends on this site!!!
