woo Hoo .......................... the van started today after another overnight charge :j :j I left it running for about 45 minutes after starting it to make sure it was ok and my neighbour is going to follow me over to the tyre place to get the two tyres I already have switched onto the van and to get my battery tested to see if I need a new one :j :j

Lady from The Pension Service has just been and we completed forms to see if Alan was still due any G/Pension Credit from 12/3 to 3/7. If there is any due it will be paid into my bank account, but I am not sure there will be any to come. Will wait and see, as I would like to be pleasantly surprised ;)

Lovely sunny day today - good drying day so I am washing the throws off the sofa & chairs :j

    Hope everyone ok :D

  • Hello Folks,

Beanie - I used Rescue Remedy pre driving test (and most of the lessons) not used the night stuff but my experience of the Rescue Remedy is good.

    Nevertheless she persisted.

Right, Technically Hull is a unitary authority (which I think York is too) so technically neither are in Yorkshre any more. :D We here in Hull however are still in East Yorkshire in our souls. The North Humberside thing was a big mistake - trouble is when you fill in one of those one line forms they insist on you putting a county in and it is often NH even though it has been abolished. Drives me nuts.:rotfl:

Hard work today, got an email from big Bro in London to say his !!!!!! desease has returned - he had most of his gullet removed a couple of years ago. Will be going down to visit in Sept when DD jumps out of her aeroplane so will see how he is then. It's his third bout of this.

Other news - I got a phone call from the estate agent at 5:30pm to ask if a lady could view the house, she was stood outside. Trouble was I was at work, OH was in Cleckheaton and DS was in the bath :rotfl::rotfl: She's coming tomorrow morning at 8:30 so our planned lay in will have to be shelved.:)

Glad the van has started Susan, and now I am off to asda to see if they have any flowers left to tart up the house for the morning - I am cream crackered, glad I actually have a two day weekend to come this week.

    :hello: 3Dogs.

sorry I am off to bed too. very tired, a lot going on in my life at the moment, very draining.

have DS' school appeal on 23rd and DH told me that I might as well give up now, as they will not listen to me. Love the negativity of that man! at least I tried! I will try the appeal boards on mse and other sites later to see what advice people give. probably don't stand a chance as they are not taking location and proximity into account, but still have to give it a go. This is my boy and I want the best for him. and for me not to have to ride 6-8 buses a day! that is just going to school, going to work, going to school, going home! in one day.

Honestly Aesop, I feel very  on your behalf. Wouldn't it be nice for a little support eh? Perhaps he'd be thinking differently if it were him doing the 6-8 buses a day. Grrrrr, silly man.

Sorry, Susan, didn't mean to rant on your thread - you had a cracker of an angel xxx

    So agree with this.
I think Aesop knows my thoughts by now:rotfl:

Sorry butted in here as popped over to catch up on 3 dogs.

I seriously recommend quiet life tablets ( get about 60 in ajar from Boots) they are herbal and for stressful times of life! Meant to take throughout day but I found that they mde me drowsy so just took 3 at night and slept so well!!

Totally non addictive and cheap too.
