So 1 1/2 off this week and a total loss of 3 stone and 3 lbs.
SW Club 10 & target reached with SW.
I had already lost 2 stone with Sc Slimmers prior to joining SW.
A happy beanie am I

I deceided to not go for a target which is unsustainiable IYSWIM.

Well done Beanie :T :T :T and good choice to go for a target weight you can maintain ;)

Well I went back to S/world this afternoon and went straight back into helping out, by doing the pay-in desk ;) I paid for a 12 week countdown so paid for 10 weeks upfront and get 2 extra weeks free. I thought that I would be right back up to my previous top weight, what I started at last time. Close, I was 11 1/2 pounds down on it ;):o I decided to have a completely new start so will forget about that 11 1/2 pounds loss and start from present weight. It's a long long way to go, but one step at a time

My biggest problem this time is that I am not eating much. I sit of a night on my laptop and watching the Olympics and realise at about 10.30pm that I haven't had any dinner. In fact I just had my ready meal curry/rice about half an hour ago, and I hadn't eaten since going to the cafe before class and having a bacon, egg and cheese sarnie, for my breakfast as I'd only had a banana earlier to take my tablets :o So I am going to have to plan very carefully and make sure that I have breakfast, lunch, and dinner :( I've got the things in, I just have to make sure that I eat them :o

The motability car goes back tomorrow. Auction people are picking it up in the afternoon, so I have cleared out the glove box and door pockets and just have to take the throw and some shopping bags out of the boot in the morning. I will have to use the van again until I sort out a car, but small problem there ....

the van has a totally flat battery and two very flat tyres

I have put off getting it going again but my neighbour John asked about it tonight and suggested we tried to do it this evening. So we got the two tyres pumped up and will see if they last until the morning, and I now have the battery charger hooked up to the battery on the car, with a long lead into the house, and we will check it in the morning and see if it starts then. I would have left the van as it was until I HAD to do it, so I am very grateful to John for making me sort it tonight :T

I have a buyer for the van, a couple who run the sweety stall at the car boot/market, so as soon as I have another car sorted, they will have it, so that's not a problem. And I have tyres for it in the back garden so, if the tyres stay up tomorrow, I can take it to my tyre garage and get them switched over. That will get rid of more clutter from the garden too. Actually, I think that there are 3 tyres out there, so will give them the other one as a spare ;)

Well the tyre stayed up on the van but the battery didn't charge up :( I don't think it had a good enough connection with the grips :( so I am going to ring my breakdown inurance to get it started :D

Guy came to take Motability car back at 2.30pm so that's gone :( Glad we had it for the time we had though as it enabled us to get out and about, and Alan loved driving it :D

When Alan and I were talking to S/world consultant when we went to see her play in her band, I told her that I would be back to class when I could and Alan said 'Oh that's good, I hoped you'd go back' and I promised him I would :happyhear

    Hi

I just wanted to post and say well done for going back to slimming world. I'm there too and still struggle even though I am at target. I'm like you and always get involved somehow even though I don't set out to.

I was curious as you've thanked me for my posts on the Tesco JTD and wanted to know who is this "3 dogs?"

Then I started to read your post about Alan and my heart went out to you. My BIL was in the same situation in 2001 and died peacefully aged 42 on 1 July 2001, leaving my sister and two kids aged 2 and 7. I remember how I felt for her and the kids and how brave she was and I thought the same about you. They had a motorbility car too that had to go back.

You are a courageous person - don't ever forget that and Alan will be up there smiling down as he witnesses you getting on with your life. He would be so proud of you.

    Well done you!

Hi Beanie - yes, Molly doing fine thanks. Still swollen under the stitches but no worse, and she is acting like nothing happened :D

Hiya Cabbage - I recognise your name, and signature ;), from the Tesco JTD thread. Thanks for popping over to say hello and for your kind words. Alan and I both helped out at Slimming so I am happy to go back to doing it. Like you, I always end up helping out in whatever I do ;) well done on sticking at target weight :T

So sorry to hear about your BiL but hope that your sister and family are getting on ok now

Good for you Beanie - most consultants struggle to get good helpers, or any helpers, and I find the more involved you are, not only are you more inclined to go to classs, you get more out of it too
