:rotfl: :rotfl: I laugh everytime you put that Boult. It's Angel or Angie .............................not Angle ;) Afternoon hun

Edit: Just realised that sounds really critical. It wasn't meant to be. I find it funny coz I remember getting wrong at school for not knowing the difference between angle and angel - well, I was off sick that day, that was my excuse ;) I had a problem with 'enough' too. Took me ages to get that in my head :o

:DDon't worry me duck, I know your not having a go at me:D and I'm glad to give you a laugh but I'v never been good at spelling, and you'v seen my writing:eek: is'nt in it, at time's it look's like i'v used a spider crossed with a mad muppet:rotfl:,but give me a flat pack and I'll put it up with out to many problem's.

Sadly my legs will always be dire.
Seems very shallow to say it quite upsets me.
    My knees are truely dire.

[Hugs] and your not being shallow, and I wish I could do/say something that could help.

You're not being shallow Beanie, anymore of that talk and I'll be sending Igor and Big M round ;) Try and focus on the positive parts (we all have 'orrible bits we'd like to change no matter what size we are - promise x) and you may have 'dire' legs, but you have a beautiful personality (trust me, that sounded so less patronising in my head :o) xx

    Hey Susan

Thats a good idea about putting something of Nicks in Nemo's bed but that would mean I have to open the wardrobe :( Am being a right !!!!! gnome and have put a chair in front of it :(

Just looked at my last post and it seems really upbeat, but really I feel like poo and think I am putting on a brave face.:( Really want the hurt to stop.

Mandy - apologies for intruding but I just wanted to give you a big hug - you're not being daft not wanting to open the wardrobe, and you're allowed ups, downs and inbetweens. Both you and Susan are coping amazingly, take one day and one step at a time, don't be afraid to lean on those close to you and ask them for a shoulder when you need one - sometimes you will need someone to hold your hand for the hard bits and sometimes you'll just want to be by yourself - but always remember, you're never alone xxx

We didn't have a motobility car, Nick had a company car that I could drive, as we worked at the same place so far its been ok, but will probs have to give it back as I am not back at work yet. Also means I,m £500 down on money each month, aagh!

If the hurt stopped petal, it would mean you didn't care, and of course, you do. It's the nature of life ....... and death :( The hurt will ease but it will take time. I am very upbeat, it's my nature, but I have a big gaping hole inside of me, and in my life, that I hide. Tears come when you least expect them :( A song. A word. A thought. That's all it takes. But I don't want to stop hearing that song, or those words, or those thoughts. I want to cherish them

We will keeping putting on that brave face. That mask that hides our sorrow and the emptiness. We are expert at it, aren't we? That is why this thread is so important. We don't have faces on here. Just words. And we can use those words to say what we feel. What we need to say. What we can't say to others. No need to hide behind a mask on here. We can be ourselves

We can still have fun, and laugh and joke. There is nothing wrong with that. We can still share the happier parts of our lives. Our sorrow does not stop the world turning. Or 'life' happening. We can still smile and not feel guilty. We can still live. We can still be happy. Yes, it is ok to be happy when your heart is breaking. The sadness is part of our lives, but it is not the whole of our lives. Life goes on ............... and time will make it easier, if we let it

Oh, about that wardrobe. I dare you to move the chair from the door. Don't open the wardrobe yet. Just move the chair away ;)

It reminds me of what a medical assessor said to Alan at an Incapacity Benefit medical, when Alan told her that he had lost 7 1/2 stone but still had the pain on his legs, knees, hips, back. She said that, unfortunately, the damage was already done. Losing weight couldn't cure it

I'm so sorry that your fantastic weight loss hasn't helped with your leg problems and I can understand how it upsets you. But you should still be very proud of how you lost that eight. With great determination. Lot of love hun x x x

Hmm, I posted tonight about Simple shower gels at Boots, in response to someone's question, cannot find my post now, and cannot see if it has been moved. Oh well.

Mandy, I know....I know. But as I said to Susan earlier, they made someone from my team redundant yesterday, that was a bit of a shock, and they are looking to make someone in another team redundant. I have already said if this company doesn't start making, none of us will have a job. People don't seem to realise that. I am working hard trying to get people through and have been offering lots of advice on free marketing, etc. So for a little while longer my job is safe.

The funny thing, I have been called for Jury Duty. I have ALWAYS wanted to do Jury Duty, and just the way the letter is written it makes me think it might a good case. The problem is it is smack bang in middle of DS starting school when he only goes half days, and I have to transport him to nursery for the afternoon. DH has already refused to help sort it out, not even to pick up after nursery if I do the Jury Service, and the second is I have no idea how I would get there by 9am!! And it is for at least 4-6 weeks according to them.

so I am going to have to write to ask if I can be excused :( I have always wanted to do JURY service and never thought I would get the chance. Now I may not again :(

Sometimes, post just seem to vanish into the ether of MSE :(

I was once called for Jury Service, when I was much younger, and I opted out as I was going on holiday .......... well, I had the chance of a holiday when someone dropped out and so I went rather than do the Jury Service. I can understand you wanting to do it though Aesop - it must be very interesting ... but such a responsiblity     to OH for not helping out

Aesop~your OH makes me very very cross & thats a understatment.
Youcould be recalled quite quickly if its anything like up here or you could investigate having a childminder for the duration which they should pay for.
