Honestly Aesop, I feel very  on your behalf. Wouldn't it be nice for a little support eh? Perhaps he'd be thinking differently if it were him doing the 6-8 buses a day. Grrrrr, silly man.

Sorry, Susan, didn't mean to rant on your thread - you had a cracker of an angel xxx

Anyone can have a rant on here Kerri - we don't mind and often join in with the ranting :rotfl:

Right, Technically Hull is a unitary authority (which I think York is too) so technically neither are in Yorkshre any more. :D We here in Hull however are still in East Yorkshire in our souls. The North Humberside thing was a big mistake - trouble is when you fill in one of those one line forms they insist on you putting a county in and it is often NH even though it has been abolished. Drives me nuts.:rotfl:

Hard work today, got an email from big Bro in London to say his !!!!!! desease has returned - he had most of his gullet removed a couple of years ago. Will be going down to visit in Sept when DD jumps out of her aeroplane so will see how he is then. It's his third bout of this.

Other news - I got a phone call from the estate agent at 5:30pm to ask if a lady could view the house, she was stood outside. Trouble was I was at work, OH was in Cleckheaton and DS was in the bath :rotfl::rotfl: She's coming tomorrow morning at 8:30 so our planned lay in will have to be shelved.:)

Glad the van has started Susan, and now I am off to asda to see if they have any flowers left to tart up the house for the morning - I am cream crackered, glad I actually have a two day weekend to come this week.

So sorry to hear the news about your big brother - hugs :(

I did :rotfl: at the thought of the lady on the doorstep and your DS in the bath . Hope you got some nice whoopsied flowers :j

Well, after blowing up the tyre on the van again :(, I went along to the tyre place neighbour recommended to find that they wouldn't remove the tyres from the rims I had and fit them on the van, as they couldn't guarantee the work  and when they checked tyres on the van, they said the front drivers one was right on the limit and I had a mixture of different size tyres

Cut a long story short, it cost me £142 for two new tyres and they switched them around so the two new ones were on the front. Not too bad though as I thought that I'd definitely need a new battery at about £80/£90 but when they checked it, they said it was ok, but, with standing for so long, just needed a good run

So, not a very :money: day for me, but the van is safe to use and roadworthy again, and that's what matters at the moment :D

Afternoon guys - I got up at 6.50 this morning   got dressed, went outside to sort out the back of the van to drag Alan's seated walker, crutches and commode out, put the rest back in, brought the aids into the house ready for collection of the walker today ................................ and then went back to bed :rotfl: :rotfl:

Got back up at 11.30 when the guy knocked on the door for the walker and have been on laptop and watching Olympics since then, but I am going to have a quick shower, get dressed and pop down to the car boot cafe before they close at 2pm

Lovely day here, I hope it's the same for everyone :j

By the way, I hadn't realised that my goodnight post on here last night was my 10,000 post and I have my next medal :j :j :j :j :j

A gold medal for GB from 3Dogs ;)

Sounds like a really nice lunch, I ended up eating a chicken mayo sarnie in the car between the solicitors and work. But at least we now have the paperwork started if we get a buyer.

On that note we had the couple come round to view this morning and they love the house - they have said they are just waiting for a mortgage. The lady is worried that they may get turned down but I'll keep my fingers crossed for her. I told her that I took photos of the house as it was being built and she has asked that if they are successful could I give her a set. Of course I would - I'll even put them in an album for her :rotfl:He is a plumber/heating engineer - I'm sure he will be popular if they move in.:D

Work today was not too bad - made much better by the boss being abscent as he had been caught speeding and had to take one of those courses. Have a proper weekend off so will enjoy a lay in.

Off to bed soon as it has been a heavy week what with one thing and another and I've told OH we need to get some more work done on the house.

    Peaceful dreams everyone.
