Hi Kavics, lovely to see you're still posting - have you gone overdue now? Fingers crossed she'll make an appearance soon.
I've read back over a few posts where you're debating going home for a couple of years or staying here and going back to work in May. To me the answer is obvious- you say you have a large supportive family, whereas here it sounds to me as though you're quite isolated. Of course I don't know you or the ins and outs of it but I think putting yourself back into the bosom of your family, if only for a couple of years, would relieve a lot of burden from your shoulders - I'm sure they're worried sick about you over here on your own too.
Anyway as I say I don't know you or your life really so I'll shut up. Do keep us up to date with any twinges - thinking of you xxWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Thanks Tete. No, not overdue yet, due date is friday.
I am not isolated, my brother is here and all my friends. I see them all the time, i feel very lucky to have them around me but i am also aware that they have their own lives. I will do some research about going home, at the moment it looks like i will...0 -
Sorry Kavics, maybe I was confusing you with someone else on here, I was under the impression that you were quite alone. That makes things different then but again, if I had the choice I think I'd like to have the time off work to spend with my baby if I could.
For now though... any movement???Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Moring Ladies,
baby Kavics arrived on 20st November after a long, 25 hour labour. She is beautiful and feeds like a pro. I had a positive birth, i managed not to use any kind of pain relief for 24 hours (apart from water, I didn't like my tens or gas&air) but ended up with a light epidural in the last hour as baby got stuck and I was at risk of having a c section. The epidural gave me enough strength to push baby out, she arrived shortly after. I haven't teared, baby weighs 3.67kgs.
She looks just like her daddy...0 -
Hi Kavics.
Oh congratulations you beauty! She sounds lovely. And a good healthy weight too. Hope the moment wasn't too bitter sweet for you. I wish you well
