Thank you everyone. We are up, she is feeding, I am so tired. But so worth every penny, she is the most amazing person. It's unbelievable that she fit into my tummy, I just can't get over it. I am going to register her birth today so hopefully I can get her a passport just before Xmas and I can take her to see my parents.

Some of you are on my facebook so can see pictures, for those who are not I will try to upload a photo, just need to find time.

    Glorious news, kavics!

How well you're doing to have an early strong feeding bond! That gives you both a marvellous start.

' It's unbelievable that she fit into my tummy,'

Yes indeed - was exchanging this very chat with a 3-weeks new maman yesterday.

Enjoy this time kavics. Rest all you can. No wonder she is the most amazing little person. She has the most amazing parents and nothing will ever alter that.

    Blessings to you all.

Congratulations Kavic! I remember you from the <12 week thread and also heard your news on the pregnancy group. I'm so sorry to hear about you losing your OH but also so happy to hear that your little girl is here safe and that you are doing well.

You are in my thoughts xxx

I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks that she arrived. She is beautiful and I'm so in love with her, I can't imagine life without her. She looks just like her dad, the face, the shape of her head, the nose, the mouth, the chin. But having a baby is not cheap, we have been back and forth in hospital.

She lost too much weight as my milk didn't come in so they asked me to put her on formula. She is breastfeeding every 3 hours but has top up after every feed as I still don't have enough milk. I started to bleed last Tues really badly so we ended up calling not only the midwives but 999 too, I had retained placenta so we got admitted. All is good now but taking strong antibiotics still. We are still not discharged from midwives as my blood result wasn't great so they need to repeat it on Saturday. So with all the drama I haven't got round to do anything, I have so much to do. I still don't have her birth certificate, if it doesn't arrive by Thurs than our plans to go and see family for Christmas disappear.

Oh dear, got to go, little Madam is awake. I will try my best to write some more tomorrow.
