Sorry not had time to catch up or do any flying
Dad was rushed to A and E early this week and is still in hospital so everything is at 6's and 7's not had chance to update on the grocery challenge either. Its not been a good start has it?
Hope everyone else is ok, I shall be back when things have settled down.
Take Care everyone.

well thanks for the GUAG whoever sent it - am in the middle of deep cleaning (ie furniture moving) in my bedroom
I found a lipstick and a mascara under the bed *blushes for shame*
just broke off to get washing in off the line as the sky has gone black over there *waves in general direction of 'near' neighbours the Devonshires*;) While I was in the kitchen I tidied up after lunch (wraps and salad) and filled the sink with hot water for the stuff that cannot go in the DW, so that's soaking.
Just having a :coffee: before I head back up to the boudoir?
help yourselves :coffee::coffee::coffee:
(I only have 4 Denby Mugs but I have other mugs if anyone's desperate:rotfl:)

Good afternoon
Not much flying here again todayI keep getting distracted by the Olympics as well
Go Team GB :j:j
2 loads of washing done. 1 was on the line while I went food shopping & the heavens opened while I was out. I got home to find DD2 had got it in :eek: This is the same DD who has been a pain in the you-know-what all holidays, so I was shocked - and pleasedIt wasn't quite dry, so the large bits got put back on the line & the undies on the airer in the summerhouse (might have to call it the drying room from now on). the 2nd lot is on the line now, so hopefully that will dry.
Food shopping done, and dog walked - and that is about it. I did watch our boys get silver & bronze in the gymnastics though
Oh - more cycling - I haven't got a clue how that works!!
Ok - I MUST do some paperwork now, and maybe order some currency :j Only 5 more sleeps to go :j (and one of those is in the travel lodge at Gatwick!)
Welcome back Soappie. I don't think we have 'met', but you have often been mentioned fondly on here
Pigpen - you strike me as someone that gets what she wants, and can be stubborn at times. Am I right?
So why don't you just refuse to go OH's mum's? It obviously makes you very unhappy, and he must see that. (Just say if I have over-stepped the mark, or to mind my own business - i won't take offence)

Thanks Dusty, Mrs Chaos and Helen
Hi Goodintentions and thanks...
BudgetBabe - hope your Dad gets better.
Well, I've achieved everything on the "to do" bit of my list. The "if time" bit of sorting out the top shelf was substituted with changing my bedding and dysoning the bedroom as it's been such a good line drying day. I really wanted to have a half hour sitting out in the garden in the sunshine but there's a flipping fair on in the park at the bottom of my garden and I bet I can hear what the tannoy's saying better than those actually in attendance! The noise has seriously irritated me all afternoon!
Still, it's supposed to finish at 6pm so maybe I'll get a chance to sit out then... Better go peel the potatoes for roasties...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

He knows I hate going but if I don't go none of his family would get to see the girls because they don't come here, so I am all self-sacrificial and tolerate it for a few days a month..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
