Hugest hugs Soappie....sounds like you've had a really awful time of it. But...it also sounds like you've turned a corner and you're on the way to getting things sorted. Good to see you back here, although I only get the odd chance to pop in, things are so busy at the moment. And you have been away so long you have underestimated the power of the fly lady support....there is not a single person who will think any less of you. We've all had good times/bad times made good & bad decisions. That's just life. Takes a lot of guts to pour your heart out like that if you ask me.

Anyway, just popped on for a quick list update:

Monday - Living Room, Hall & Stairs
    Level Two
Hoover any of the floor you can see
    Extras
    HHPaperwork

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Done!

    Wednesday - Bathroom
    Sort out airing cupboard
    Extras
    HHI
Catch up on any phone calls

Thursday - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level One
    Strip, wash & replace bedding
    Extras
    HHPaperwork
    Wipe skirting boards

    Friday - Kids'/Spare Bedrooms
    Level One
    Strip, wash & replace bedding
    Level Two
    HHC Floor clearance
    Hoover cleared floor
    Level Three
Sort out children's clothes - are any too small?
    Clean a window or 2
    Wipe off any sticky fingermarks

Just the girls bedrooms that desperately need tackling tomorrow.

it is a familial trait.. my sister spent a week in Cyprus and needed to poo 2 days before they were due home.. she waited the 2 days and the flight home and the 2 hour drive home... that's dedication to the cause lol.. Strangly one of the most revolting loos I have been in was in M&S.. I walked out and went elsewhere as it was so vile.. and I emailed a complaint.. given their clientele you would think they would be sparkly.. alas not!

Soappie darling, great to hear from you, although the news isn't so good Hun :(. I truly hope you are finally turning a new leaf in the chapter of your life.

I've just returned after a prolonged absence, few changes afoot in the Triker household, I'm leaving my profession and going part time into something different. What I have learned is that money isn't everything and I have lost myself along the way and am now waiting to say a big fat hello to ME again.

Anyways today's flying has been minimal, I did
Some hanging out of washing and gather it back in, an achievement in my world....:rotfl:

    Morning All

:jHiya Soappie - good to see you back - it sounds like you've got yourself sorted.

Right I need to get myself sorted if I'm going on holiday tomorrow. Packing would be helpful at some point and the house is still a pigsty.

    Happy 18th Bonnie's DS!

    Have a good day all

Morning all. I need to do housework today. I'm meeting DD's new bloke for the first time this evening - he's coming to dinner - so I need to scrub certain bits of the house up. So, plan of action is:

    WM - probably times two
Hang stuff out to dry on the line while it's not raining
    Empty DW and refill
Change throws on suite in Living room
    Dust living room
    Dyson living room
Dyson kitchen (it had a good scrubbing/dusting yesterday)
    Dust and Dyson hallway
    Wash utility area floor
    Ironing

    If there's time:

a couple of hours work this afternoon

Dust and clean the top shelf in the bedroom hallway bagging anything no longer required ready for car boot otherwise throw away!

That should keep me out of mischief!

  • Hello Soappie, sorry to hear life's been more than pants recently, but happy to see you are getting your bounce back.

I will join you on the cleaning/decluttering front today. Need to add in church and a spot of gardening here, but otherwise its a hard work day today - just need to get DH & DS onboard!

    see you later
