Minimal flying here today as we are having OH's son and daughter-in-law and their two squabbling children (5 & 7) here for lunch and evening meal. They generally manage to destroy something major each time they visit. Anyway the bathroom is squeaky clean as is the kitchen. Everywhere else has had a quick flip so it isn't too bad.
Right, I'd better go and plant myself in the kitchen. Hopefully I can spend most of the day there out of the way! Really, anyone would think I am anti social or something!!!0 -
Morning all. My plan for today:
Get clean (me)
Walk doggies
Groom doggies
Vaccuum living room
Carry on sorting rooms upstairs from yesterday. I'm getting there, have permission from DS to get rid of whatever I think he doesn't need anymore, so one bin bag almost full already. Have kept Buzz Lightyear though, even though DS is in his mid twenties!
Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
 Morning
Not a lot done this week as I keep being lured to the tv to watch Team GB do their thing :T:j:T
However, after a week's rumination I have ralised that Mrs Chaos's advice to begin by making a cuppa and sorting my listys was excellent advice...and I should have listenedso that's what I aim to do today. There's so much 'to do' stuff trundling round my head - writing it down should free up some brain cells to formulate a forward plan
In the meantime WM is on so I'll have clean clothes for work, and hopefully dry - had to set off in damp knickers on Friday (as in not dry after washing but heyho, not ooh I forgot my Tena lady) not a pleasant experiencedistinctly clammy sensation until they dried out....too much info :rotfl::rotfl:
OOOh Mablethorpe, that's my neck of the woods Julejimjust under an hour up the road from me. Hope you have a lovely time.
Right, now to find some paper and get some lists written - I'm surrounded by a sea of paper, but not the sort you can write on....hmmmm could use used envelopes s'pose  plenty of them visible to the naked eye
Hugs, spoons, sticks, and much love to you all xxIT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme0 -
Morning all
Sorry not caught up with thread, so have hugs/spoon/sticks as appropriate please:rotfl:
Been up since 7am with DD to get her up and out for 9am. I think ex was rather surprised when she was ready and waiting for himI have no idea what time she'll be home today as they're off up the Lakes to see his family so since there's no school I don't care what time they're back :rotfl:I'm going to enjoy the peace and quiet and lack of Glee:rotfl:
Did a big clean yesterday, as decluttering has taken priority the past few weeks. Now I have a mountain of blankets etc that need washing after finding out my blanketbox is mouldy and everything that was in it stinks. Going to get them all washed, dried & vacuum packed over the next few days.

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Got dressed and put 1st load on washing line. Glorious out there at the mo....you watch it'll rain now! 2nd load in WM.
(Thought I'd better get dressed before hanging out washing as new NN moved in yesterday - don't want to frighten 'em)
Right, now cuppa and first listy - better make that 'appointments to be made' as am overdue on lots of health type check up thingys

The bug bite on my ankle has had me up all night.. it is now blistered and weeping and there isn't a walking distance open chemist on a Sunday... bollards!!! I ended up with a coolbox ice pack on it. Dot woke up at 1:30am.. and OH had to deal with her, I feel so dreadful with this cold and the bite I just needed to sleep... anyway, I got up with a stinky Squeak and left him in bed... esp after he elbowed me in the face..
My house is trashed...

it is a familial trait.. my sister spent a week in Cyprus and needed to poo 2 days before they were due home.. she waited the 2 days and the flight home and the 2 hour drive home... that's dedication to the cause lol..
Good Lord.
If I gotta go, I gotta go:D
On one hand, I want to ask how she managed that
but on the other... TMI :rotfl:‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
