Is she pregnant?

I'm a bit confused given that you're "not teenagers" and have been having unprotected sex and yet neither of you feel you can have this discussion. Was pregnancy not the intended outcome here?0
-
Well the only reason she could be scared is due to the fact she asked me if i wanted a kid and i said no.. That was a few months ago eh..
She's a very private person. I don't see how one could be scared of a reaction. We're both involved in the creation of the child, it's hardly a huge shock.
We weren't using any protection. I'd actually be delighted to find out she's pregnant. We're not short of money or anything, have a house and car. It's not a major problem.
Alas, i wasn't trying to get into all that... Just wanted to know if the symptoms she is showing suggests the likelyhood of pregnancy.

Surely not wanting a child and not using protection isn't really the way to go!0

Hi,
don't ask her outright, 'hey, are you pregnant?', too aggressive.
Get yourselves sat down and have a wee cuddle, and work round to, 'hey, babe, I've noticed a bit of a change in you recently, and I'm a bit concerned, do you think you might be pregnant?'0 -
Dont you think she is probably worrried because you said you didnt want a child.
Take it from there, talk about babies and tell her youve had a change of mind and would like some when you are ready.
Dont tell her of your suspicions though because she will think youve only changed your mind because you suspect she is.
Get on with it man and put an end to her worrying.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I know it sounds foolish but it's as if she knows i know. I don't want to look like a total idiot by asking "Do you think you might be pregnant?".
Her having a kid would be an amazing thing for us both. We're probably both a little scared. Alas, this wasn't the issue i was asking. I just merely wanted to know if those symptoms sounded like she was pregnant then i can broach the situation.
I don't want to go asking her if she is pregnant when she isn't.0 -
oh goodness...
you're not teenagers
you clearly are in some kind of a relationship
yet you can't talk
when YOU said YOu didn't want kids what did she say?
chances are you are going to be presented with a fait accompli here - you'll find out when it's too late to abort, possiblyDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
