Is she pregnant?

Hello all,

Bit worried regarding how my girlfriend has been acting recently so thought i'd ask here. Maybe i'm a little paranoid but i think it's a little obvious. Just thought i'd ask here before i work up the courage to bring it up in conversation with her.

She's usually been a not so fussy eater but nowadays she's very picky (apparently hates mayonnaise now when she didn't before). Eating loads of fruit, beans on toast, marmite, craves pickle etc.

She's been really tired recently, very lethargic for no reason.

Stopped smoking and drinking completely.

I told her to go to the doctor, which she did, who referred her to the nurse. She wouldn't explain why. I'm no expert but i don't think theres much a nurse knows which a Doctor doesn't.

She's been throwing up during the day.

Yesterday when i went to bed i founf a blister packet of pills on her bedside cabinet, thought it was birth control tablets but looked at them and they were folic acid 5mg.

We're not teenagers or anything like that and we haven't been using protection so i probably kind of know what's going on anyway but just looking for a bit of advice on here before i broach the subject.

Do you think she could be pregnant?

LOL! she is either pregnant or preparing her body for pregnancy.

She sounds it, but unless you ask her you wont know.
Could she be and afraid to tell you? Worried how you may react?
Though if she was pregnant she would of been referred to the midwife. But I guess she could of been and told you it was the nurse.

I am guessing if you werent using protection you were happy with her getting pregnant. But you really need to sit her down and ask her outright. That is the only way you will find out Im afraid.

From what you have said it sounds a possibility and she is probably scared of your reaction so talk to her.. . OH AND LET US KNOW:D

I know it's all very simple to say just ask her, which i will do.. but it is a rather big life changing thing. I do realise it's a public forum but our names etc are hardly out there... albeit it's obvious i'm from Arran

I'm just looking to see if she could be pregnant asking on here before i ask her so i don't look like a complete idiot.

Also, can one buy 5mg Folic Acid tablets or does one have to be prescribed it?

It's a changing thing for her too if she is

She is probably so worried for goodness sake ask her, if you don't want to pm me her mobile and I will ask her for you

You can buy them from a shop/chemist etc. OP, is it possible that your OH is maybe scared of reaction if you find out she is pregnant?She can't hide it forever though and it will soon become obvious.
