Neighbour stealing from mail order parcels?

I wouldn't rely on the delivery instructions being read and adhered to, maybe I'm just unlucky but whenever I've put additional instructions on a delivery they've never been followed! I agree that a generic note on the door all the time (not not altering anyone to the fact that you're out) is a good way forward.
But could cover the OP & her (genuine) neighbours' backs with the retailer/courier company, if they have specifically not given them permission to leave a parcel with her.0 -
Next door neighbour took in parcels and opened them. Nothing went missing but it was all opened even inner bags. The third time the woman claimed that she was expecting something from DHL too and thought it was for her I told her it was the third time that she had told me that and in future I wouldn't allow couriers to leave stuff with her. I don't accept parcels for anyone else now after OH came home to find five in our hall including part of an engine.0
