Butti's Journey: A matter of loaf and death

I went for a run on Monday on the beach. Wasn't moving in one direction and couldn't stop in the other. Not so much running as wind resistance methinks. Four lots of five minutes which for me is usually about 2.5 miles I think. Half marathon in October? Have I filled the form out? Why can't I remember this? Well done on the running, was like that here yesterday, seemed ok until I got to the beach then blowing a gale all the way home. Way too winding to venture out today.
Is this Glasgow? Yes, it is but I don't think anyone has filled in a form yet just winding you up.
Apricots and curry. Does sound nice but be careful. Apricots are preserved in sulpher dioxide. You may be quite grateful they have banned smoking indoors AND it may be wise to eat alone!!!
These ones are tinned in fruit juice so hopefully quite safe but then again when combined with chickpeas...:oMortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Until you go to do end of defects a year later and find out they've trashed the place. Thats really upsetting.
(Judging by your phrases used, I think you may be in a similar role to me!!)

Ah well...best laid plans and all that!
Have walked into town in the sunshine. First outing for my charity Per Una like skirt in turquoise. Looks good. Even exfoliated and moisturised this morning.
Have checked bank account and Yes it is still there :rotfl:.
Not looking too bad either. Printed it off and am taking it home for analysis. Also paid the landlady, and the mortgage has been paid, so feeling strangely upbeat.
Have come into the library to pay car tax (and forgot the reminder) and book Driver Improvement course (and not brought driving licence!!)
Agent has had a no show this morning so I've been offering him words of comfort. How soft a touch am I?!!!Now the sun's shining and the light must be piling into my living room someone must want the opportunity to sit on the balcony and sip a nice glass of Pinot Grigio?
Started clearing the bedroom this morning. Need to change the clothes in the box under the bed over with the clothes in the wardrobe. Also need a mass cull  of plastic boxes in my room.
Right need to look at trains for May so I can go down and see my friend in South Wales before time runs out on my train vouchers.
I would love to put this news up on Faceybook but I think my movements are being monitored for signs of any expenditure on things that are not bread or beans. My life on facebook is about to become 'Anything you do post may be recorded and used in evidence against you at a later date'. In the past my life has sometimes resembled cross examination in a court room, change that 'cross examination in a court room with extra penalties attached if you do not speak in grammatically correct english'.
So lets focus on keeping Butti up
Think I shall buy a trowel from Poundland or the like on the way home and do some gardening when I get home. That always puts me in a good mood.
Followed by 'Plastic box massacre mk II - the day the floor was found' :rotfl:

Well two things to do today;
1. Tax disc
2. Driver improvement course
Have either of these got done - No. Not a chance. Although to be fair I might have had a chance if the computers in the library weren't on a crashing mission.
So that's two things to do tomorrow. Might even dig out my V5 and do the tax disc at the post office.:D
Have had enquiries about buying my mattress without the base for £25 (£50 for the whole bed!) Do you think it's worth selling part of it and giving part of it to British Heart Foundation? Will they even take part of it?
...and my motorbike panniers. Can't even remember how much I put them up for. I think it was £30. Need to respond to a question about them tonight. Phone is in the car, I am in the library.
Getting major brownie points for my 5 houses handed over today. I've been marvelling at the destructive power of toddlers -they are like a cross between a whirlwind and Popeye, stomping away on the floor. Nice to hear some noise in a house that has been empty.
Off to pub quiz now. Lets win some more beer rounds  FREE BEER I'll drink to that!
p.s. Plastic box massacre wasn't quite the polyeyrethene shredding exercise it was supposed to be. Was some progress!Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Think I may need to do some work to lift myself...feel thoroughly flat at the moment.
Think the level of clutter in the bedroom is getting me down and really I need the garden bench down here so I can sit down here in the back garden with a cup of tea.
