    So another day...another dollar.

Just paid £7 off my library fine  I'm a bit of a clutz on library usage. Need to bring my sign language books back too...and then take them back out immediatly. IT'S MY BOOK YOU HEAR...MINE... ALL MINEWHAT, YOU THINK YOU'RE IN A LIBRARY?!!!

    * note to Butti 'Must try harder!'

On a better note I am back in to put my jacket and panniers up on gumtree. Then at the weekend all my motorbike locks, all three of them. I had a very secure bike. My dad thought I was completely paranoid but the guy over the road had a sort of lazer arrangement the Bank of England would have been proud of!!!

Someone has sent a message about the bed. 'Am I accepting offers'. It's a 4ft wide bed with a solid base and in very good condition. I've got it up for £50 so I may go down to £40 but any lower and its a bit too much of a bargain.

Pub quiz tonight with the annoying man who always knows the answers even when he's wrong. He's ruining the night for a number of people, me included, but as it's an open social group it's hard to know what to say other than 'Phil...exactly what dates can't you do?'

    Better put the jacket up.

Hahaha,I'm exactly the same with library books. I worked out it was actually cheaper for me to just buy the bl**dy book in the first place! :o

Sorry I have been awol. I have been freezing in a pod in North Yorkshire and just generally faffing about. You have been busy. No surprise there! Sorry the rental fell through :(. And your snippets of internet dating terrifies the life out of me!

Who are the hard-core quizzers on your team? I have a couple of hard-core quizzing friend's who would stop that man in his tracks and then squash him, no mercy. You can't discuss anything non-quiz related when at quizzes with them. And you cannot be wrong. And you cannot be a numpty. I'll send them over...

I am liking this process these days with 'the world's local bank'.
    I go in.
The adviser I spoke to before is busy.
    Her colleague has a word.
They take a note of my account and tell me they will ring me when they have taken the charges off.
    Tis rather good. :D

Well...someone brought in Samosa's yesterday, one of those huge boxes you pack fruit and veg in. Full. There must have been about 100. I had two. About half of them were put in the fridge. Gone today. Guess the cleaners must have been hungry or something. So lunch will be half a chinese instead! Tea will be pot noodle. Heart attack will be tomorrow!

Back to Sign Language class tonight and the nice thing is it has now ALL been paid for so no more worries about covering that :D. Then to the quiz where we have a round of free drinks because we won last week.

    (My emoticons aren't jumping?!!!)

The pc has stopped working at home, AT THE SAME TIME as I hit the limit on data for the month for my smart phone :mad:. Any suggestions anyone? I have spoke to the IT guy at work and he has suggested 'trying' a new keyboard and mouse. Surely this will mean 'buying' a new keyboard and mouse! Does seem a bit weird that they have both stopped working.

    THE LURVE CORNER
On other news yesterday guy at work said 'Hello' and I said 'Hello'. Slow burner? I think the pilot lights gone out. This could be slower than Chummy and PC Noakes :rotfl:.

Check bank balance tomorrow and then prep for journey home on Friday with no broadband :(. How will I survive without the internet? How much do I sound like a teenager?

In the library...Have forgot to bring my books for renewing :o Will have to come back at four just to do that - I am so annoying, I am annoyed with myself!!

So I obviously was sympathetic with my friend and the cider man, she has sent me an invitation to his funeral. Maybe I am more subtle than I have EVER given myself credit for. Maybe she's in more of a state of shock than I thought. I won't be going!

Last night we won the pub quiz for the third week on the trot :j (a bit of this) :o:o:o (and quite a bit of this). I'm sure once the teachers are back / back up to strength normal service (ie. being second) will be restored. We haven't been barred YET for drinking all the profits!

    Other news?
Once First Utility's payment of £61 comes out of my bank account I will have about £60 left till Monday and have bought my train tickets to York for Saturday. There may need to be some account shuffling. I am determined I am not going over the O/D limit this month. We will build a better credit history brick by brick!

No tenant yet - this is taking a while! Still we are still afloat.

Had a conversation with man at work yesterday.
He asked whether Norris McWhirter was still alive, he wanted to contact him to see if he was interested in his ability to bounce a tea bag off his left elbow and into a cup.

Today we discussed whether you could source a fingerprint from a samosa.

Conclusion from this... I have really random taste in men!

I just attempted to find out if I could do the elbow, teabag, cup thing - nope so well done that man.

p.s. invitations to funerals? is this an English thing? heard folk were being invited to Mrs T's but assumed that was because she was famous but obviously cider man wasn't so is this the norm? I have never been invited to a funeral even when I would have been severely reprimanded if I hadn't turned up (by parents:o).
