Well it looks like I'm going to have to wait a wee while longer for a tenant!

Well that was a nice surprise.
Got home after a particularly gruelling week to find a cheque for a months council tax.
    That will do nicely.

My life is very ying and yang. Today council tax schedule arrived, demand for 100% council tax with no discount.

I've had the same. I'm not living there, so don't qualify for the single person discount. If I told them I'd moved back in, I'd get it. It's a bit annoying when I am not using the services that the council tax is paying for, but those are the rules so...meh, whatever. :)

Think this might be one of those situations where I should cry down the phone.

Well what a gorgeous day. The sun is shining and there's lots of people walking round town carrying their scarves.

In the library TRYING to put stuff on ebay but unfortunately the County Council's IT crowd have "improved" the system. I think you know what that means...it means I need a photographic memory to remember where my photographs are on the system as my memory stick doesn't come up and they are on one of the 15 or so H drives. BUT here's the fun bit (I sense you're ahead of me) NOBODY knows which one the photo is on!!!

They probably haven't yet improved the library next to work so I suspect I will be their on Monday or Tuesday adding all the rest of my stuff, not just the motorbike jacket!

Life is okay. I'm feeling a bit flat about not letting the house yet and not really living my life yet...and waiting for the next part of the car to drop off!

Have checked the bank balance and felt able to put an each way bet on two horses on the Grand National. The bookies was full of people like me, make reassuring noises to each other as we try and work out what the hell we are doing in there!

Two salmon recipes printed off at the libary which I have virtually all the ingrediants for at home. Need to start using the frozen salmon otherwise it ends up in that sad bendy state when it is three years old and forgotten.

    Other news?
That HORRIBLE HORRIBLE man I worked for on the cider bar last year who tried to stitch me up on the money front has died. My friend who I was working for found him so while I have no sympathy for him I do have immense sympathy for her, for his family and even for his mistress. Not entirely sure what to say though. Apart from sorry and how horrible. Should probably leave it at that!!

    Good day yesterday.
Found the keys to my motorbike locks which means I can sell them.
Found the keys to the Filing cabinet. YIPPEE. This means I can look at the details of all my loans and credit cards for PPI without the aid of a chainsaw!!!

Thinking of having a clearout on the book of visages. Bit tired of some peoples attitudes.

Sometimes the book of faces needs a clear out ( hope I'm not one of them) I had to delete one the other day that I never before had suspected of being racist but I just couldn't handle the whole go home to your own country where you belong attitude any more

Hope I'm not one either, was considering deleting a relative recently as she'd turned into a bigot but luckily some other folk told her off and she's calmed down :D
