I stand at the front door doing a mental ticklist:
    Phone
    Fags
    Keys
    Lunch
    Bag

Still got to work the other morning without my handbag :rotfl:

I do that as well!!! (although without the fags bit nowadays sadly)

And still managed to forget my phone this morning and had to drive home for it this morning!

Well done! The standing on the doorstep approach seems to be working for me...thanks for that.

Last night was weird. Sometimes I feel like an alien, like I don't belong in this pinkified world of 'ladies'. Whatever happened to the terms 'woman' and 'women'? Why is everyone referred to as a lady?

Last night I went to a beauty products evening that several friends were going to. Don't know what I was expecting but I've obviously been moneysaving for too long plus I'm not a girly girl (close your eyes Bunny in the lights if you're visiting)I han

It's all this crap about what has gone into the pot. Gold - well known for its skin care qualities? That was the £80 pot and for that you also get the nice presentation box to keep. For that I would want part of the gold bar! I'm afraid at that point I nearly choked on my wine due to a very extended laughing fit.
This wasn't helped by the two 'ladies' next to me whose skin was reacting

Well...very unspendy weekend helped by gorgeous weather.
    Three days gardening.
One pair of trousers from Next for £2 with the help of a £20 voucher found while clearing the garage out last week:-D result!

I sometimes think I am the shop assistants worst nightmare. She is selling me a pair of trousers with a label that says 'Made with love'. They also have a washing label saying 'made in Bangladesh'. I ask her how I know it wasn't made with love, blood, sweat and tears? Her answer (bless) 'I don't know...I just work Sundays'.

Yesterday I met up with friends (my age...honest!) to try crown green bowls with a break for a cup of tea and not one...but two slices of cake. Very civilised and all for the princely sum of £3 - marvellous.

More gardening and the pub quiz tonight. If we can win the beer rounds I'll be very happy.

Good luck with the pub quiz.

    Well...no signs of life from;
    • the woman who wanted the mattress
    • the man who wanted the motorbike panniers
    • the one woman and her dog who was interested in the house.
I seem to spend a lot of time waiting followed by not a lot happening

Quiet life tonight. Not going up home till tomorrow. Will do some tidying and find some things (allen keys...allen keys...allen keys 'Imprint on brain Butti'*)

Going to see what else I can sell this weekend, assuming theoretically something will actually sell. My life is on hold, it is very annoying.

Did go and see a finished house today. Insisted the builder paint every room magnolia, even the one that had a 'not too bad' (his words not mine) in blue. It looks about 3000% better (yes I know you can't get 3000%)...so the job's still going well.

Going to go and see the agent tomorrow and see if there is anything I can do about the house other than properly clear the garage which I will be doing.

    I'm tired....
and I'm sick and tired too.

Am going with a friend to see Jason Cook tomorrow so hopefully that will be good.
