an elf in a suit ? He's gorgeous.

Agreed! I've never seen him in a Bond film though so unless he's wearing Buddy's suit from Elf...

I think it's a not very subtle reference to the ears...

I can see your point...just...but I could see myself somewhat frantically kicking an elf out of bed along with screams of 'Get out, get out, GET OUT'.

    Daniel Craig...not so much! :D

You can't take too much elf?

Let me guess...depends on the suit... ;)

It's all those video's at work on elf and safety...kerching!

No suit at all would be fine. I could cope with Daniel in the other half of the bed in the buff I'm sure. I would see it as my duty to Queen and country (not to Rachel Weitz obviously!)

Well...have tried to end the year with no spending...which I am not managing but have managed not to spend much (Yes...I know...it's a bit like 'I nearly got a gold in the 800m I was lapped by the winner but hey I was on the track!)

Have done that thing that the rest of you are avoiding...a trip to the sales...primarily to buy black boots. Haven't bought black boots :o. In TOTAL from this winters sales I have bought a Quantum of Solace DVD (£3), a black and yellow work dress which was £40 (£15) and a plum coloured dress which was £18 (£7). The black boots I think will wait until the 'we're approaching summer' sales, so the end of February.

    In the New Year my resolutions;

    1. Up my income by asking for my full salary
    2. Investigate part-time work to up my income further
    3. Let the house
    4. Revive my love life*

I sense these are listed in order of difficulty! (the first being the most difficult as you ask)

Nice cheap day out yesterday. We tried to go to an art gallery (which was shut!), went for lunch (which my friend bought :o) which was served by Mr Overall it appears. Mr Overall appeared to be deaf, was very slow and only able to sprinkle parmasan on half my pasta! Then we walked for a while and talked about what a difficult year my friend had had and she cried and I let her talk and then I wondered whether I should have hugged her at that point or just let her cry.

Sometimes you think life is hard because of money or because of your job or because someone has said something crap (if that person is my dad I do apologise!) But if you have good health and those around you have good health these are all MINOR inconveniences that will be sorted. I really think most of us don't realise how lucky we are.

    B x

    * Did have this down as something else but some of you may be underage (or pretending you are!)

The trick to avoiding that is to run in the same direction that they are.

Also holding onto them helps too.

Oh? Does that mean that no 4 already has candidates? A certain pub owner perhaps..? ;)

Surely he's misnamed then. Mr Overall should have sprinkled parmasa over all your pasta...surely?

I'm under the age of responsibility - does that count?

I'm counting TWO new dresses from the woman who has plenty of clothes:p! Good luck with your four aims and I'll be keeping track of you.... I need to sort a no. 4 for me but sadly the bloke I didn't want to ask me out did, so that's probably me for the year:o!

It might be, but 2012 will be over in a few days - clean slate.

Do you have someone in mind for you too? Perhaps a pre-emptive strike before someone else asks you is in order?
