    You watched it??

I saw the unbelievable colours, and then did a "Why don't you..?" on it...

And it's a weekend, so no wheelie bins marching up the road, shoulder to shoulder...

Just the once Mr Z. It was an experience that would probably been enhanced with a joint, infact probably essential!

As for fantasy. Isn't the Wheelie Bin march from Dr Who? Or did it just eat Mickey?

p.s. Have managed to get up...to pick up and open a bottle of wine...this day is NOT looking like the most productive! Now my a**e is back on the sofa. Must locate Delia and get focused and stand up.

p.p.s. Isn't that sign in M&S usually Per Una I think, the most ridiculous thing a money saver has ever seen 'Get me now or LOSE me forever'. It's a bl**dy skirt/shirt/dress, not the love of your life! If you don't buy one right now there will be something else there to cover your modesty next week!

p.p.p.s. Right...focus...find slippers...stand in kitchen next to red cabbage.

Beef? Gammon? Or do you prefer your meat to be a bit more game?

Actually the Goodies did a sketch where those wire-mesh bins with the rubber lids invaded Britain (rather like the Daleks). It pre-dated the wheelie bin in a Nostradamus kind of way.

And then spat out a plastic one IIRC...

Day would not have been productive if you had failed to get the bottle open...

I think you'll find that no dress has ever covered my modesty...

This I can quite believe...but then you do have a hat :D

    Is there a queue?

No but there is a hell of a mess on the kitchen floor. Looks like I haven't bothered using the worktop!

    But now have;
    Dips
    Crisps and bread
    Red cabbage
    Mince pies

Don't they say if you vary the colours it is a balanced diet. Shouldn't need to buy anything else till next Sunday. Just remember to stand downwind of people.

Also that if you food in one hand, and a drink in the other - then it's a balanced diet.

OMG they're betting on me. This is a DEBT forum. Don't waste your money on my LURVE (or lack of it) life.

AND that must be the most inappropriate use of the Martin thumbs up sign!!!!!

  • I feel better now I know that Jimmy Stewart's version is the best!

And I love this thread, it makes me smile ... just as well as I am on here on Xmas Eve... Mr NL is asleep at his house (just as well as I have failed to make tea, nor finish tidying the house, or un-earth his presents) ... and watching a BBC4 program on Norman Wisdom ...

On a positive note at least you have a Mr NL. I feel like I am pining for the ffjords and I have no aerial connection for the TV so am reduced to watching everything on the laptop.

On an even more positive note...and I DO NOTE that this will be no use for Christmas in 2hrs 11 mins time this year! If you are short of cash but long on time in future you can do what I do (well okay what I haven't done for my brother this year - one piece of waistcoat cut out!)

    1. Make something - food e.g. red cabbage for a friend, take it round and save on their pressie instead

    2. Make something - sew something eg. one of Kirsty's messenger bags on Obsessive Crafting Disorder

    3. Make something - if they haven't already done it and you know their parents research their family tree. Takes a lot of time but a MEGA pressie and costs about £14 for a couple of certificates.

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas.

    B x

p.s. Am wondering how Santa is going to get my Porsche down the chimney when I don't have one :rotfl:
