Ah well, what a HOPELESS romantic I am. I 'the person whose life resembles Miranda's'. Don't be so sure because as a friend put it 'even she got her man last night'.
No nobbling for me yesterday:(. Not even a peck on the cheek. The mother of one of the women on the pub quiz got one on each cheek!!!! My love life is worse than Miranda's :eek::eek::eek:
Yes, my reading of men continues to be pretty dire. Can't work them out, but then we aren't supposed to be any easier! So yesterday I got the impression he was trying to impress but not to kiss. Maybe this is going to take some time....Maybe you should all get a cup of tea and your 2013 Christmas list...wrapping paper...sellotape...you get the gist!
But on positive notes...the cull of the direct debits starts today, with Plusnet. I can get a mobile broadband dongle from O2 that will work in my house and here which means I will be able to write war and peace to you all EVERY NIGHT for the princely sum of £10 a month.
On another positive...in an evil sense. The most difficult person I deal with at work has sent something to the printer (not even sure she has realised it has come through to our printer!) It is titled 'MY BOYS' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: . I keep making sure I have collected my printing so it is at the top. Of course it could be something innocent like her puppies!!!
Right off to clear Plusnet off! :cool:Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

The pulling in of the debts continues...text to the lodger requesting half the gas and electric for December £63. That will make her sit up :rotfl:
Now to check she has paid this months rent.

LL - I think he obviously sees the mother as a safe person to kiss without being slapped so obviously fancies you and doesn't see you as an asexual old lady:D Result! slowly, slowly and all that....Mortgage OP 2025 £6750/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

So I am
1. Like Miranda
2. Not asexual
3. Not an old lady.

She believes there MUST be some mistake as last month it was only £35. Welcome to England in December I say. She wants the phone number so she can ring up and tell them it's a mistake. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Have written to Plusnet as I can't spend several 10 minutes per day listening to their bingy bongy music when I should be working, plus my bosses keep coming in the office. Don't feel I can really say 'Sorry, be with you in a minute, just need to listen to another 5 minutes of Greensleeves played in a tin at the bottom of the swimming pool'.
This company is clearly expert at making it as difficult as possible for you to leave them. I have been more polite than usual;
'I have been trying to contact you regarding my move out of my property. The house will be being prepared for renting out from the start of February so I won't be needing a phone line or broadband. I am trying to give you a months notice but as your Customer Options Team is only available 9-5 Monday to Friday you are making it very difficult for me to leave you. I have to ring from work and I am at work to work rather than ring Plusnet. I don't really have 10 minutes to listen to your lovely music.'
See - nice, and I've provided them with four different ways to contact me!
Have to write too to the gas and leccy company who normally provide a £200 rebait this time of year and ask where it is. Might ring if I don't think I've had my fill of music played really badly.
Right on to plan the budget for the next month.

Just catching up, fingers crossed the lodger will figure out they no longer live in the canaries, although to be fair that's actually cheap, I was more than that last month,
Hmmm still sitting here with the galas of wine waiting to hear about this man, tell him to get his finger out were all waiting0
