Thanks for lumping us families all in the same boat. Some of us have brought our children up to respect others and know how to behave in certain situations.
I think we'd be avoiding you O.P.Pants0 -
Well if you can't afford to go in a hotel that doesn't allow kids, you're going to have to put up with it then.PasturesNew wrote: »It's not a family orientated one. It's a small, private hotel. It's annoying when someone is noisy in a hotel, but I've had far worse noise from grown ups, which is even more annoying.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

This description is not representative of pretty much all of the families I know.
If it's not a buffet, how can the children be shoving? What are they whining and moaning about? Most kids will just sit down and eat their breakfast. And most of them will do so pretty quickly.
I'd be going in later, not earlier. It's a communal area, you have to expect there to be people around."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

Good.... I like a quiet and orderly start to my day, without tears, tantrums and parents trying to find out what the kids want to eat repeatedly. Thanks for lumping us families all in the same boat. Out of interest, how big is this hoard?
There are only seven rooms. How many families are we talking about here? How many children?"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

If children are running riot in the hotel why aren't you complaining in the strongest possible terms to the manager?.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0
