Kids and Small Hotels and Breakfast Time Nightmares

There's no dinner. There's only breakfast. It's a small place, just 7 rooms.

Thanks for lumping us families all in the same boat. Some of us have brought our children up to respect others and know how to behave in certain situations.

Well if you can't afford to go in a hotel that doesn't allow kids, you're going to have to put up with it then.

It's annoying when someone is noisy in a hotel, but I've had far worse noise from grown ups, which is even more annoying.

This description is not representative of pretty much all of the families I know.

If it's not a buffet, how can the children be shoving? What are they whining and moaning about? Most kids will just sit down and eat their breakfast. And most of them will do so pretty quickly.


I'd be going in later, not earlier. It's a communal area, you have to expect there to be people around.

Good.... I like a quiet and orderly start to my day, without tears, tantrums and parents trying to find out what the kids want to eat repeatedly.

I would say ... this morning it was Mission Accomplished. The hoard were just coming down the stairs as I left the room.

Out of interest, how big is this hoard?

There are only seven rooms. How many families are we talking about here? How many children?
