Well, I dunked the tots, and they are fast asleep, and I have framed myself and stripped and remade my bed. Will be an early night for me, although I do feel heaps better. Been watching the Olympics today. Didn't think I'd be bothered but finding it watchable...
Things I need to do this week:
Sort August birthdays.
Paint shed door.
Sort out HL fund.
Hand wash my dress.
Get rid of bed base.
Emulsion dining room and downstairs loo (end of decorating this year...)
But tonight, sleep. Night night xBossymoo

I've been on my feet all day at the carnival but we've raised £100 so that's good so I'm shattered and going to bed.

If they are not playing ball (and they should be, as you say a £3.50 basic iron should NOT be performing better that the steam generator iron) remind them of the SoGA (Sale of Goods Act - which states that 'goods should be fit for the purpose intended'. And it is the retailer's responsibility too.
Electrics blew. Washer appeared to be problem; fuse changed in washer, fuse tested, washer still wont play. It is 'electrically dead'. A few months back I had new bushes fitted to it - and that was £50
ExH had sense to offer to take a load of washing with him, for us. I removed my panties from the washload first...well, it didn't seem right, somehow:rotfl:
So this year I have 'lost'
one iron
one kettle
one TV
and now a washer....
bear in mind I have just had a new kitchen  time
Does anyone want to buy a child...don't think I have anything else I can list now...:rotfl:
They were fab, as it turns out - no questions or queries and happily refunded me.
