Lol piggers - I was thinking about you in 2-washing-machine heaven and kinda wishing I lived closer.

Anyway, mum's not far away and there is a launderette very close by.

Been to Meadowhall today and DS1+DS2 were spoilt again (Not that you would know it, autism sucks sometimes) Waved to any flyladies on the way. Can recommend the Lego shop, DS2 got to make 3 mini figures for £3.50. There were also staff to play games with.

2xWM done, henried upstairs, window cleaner visited, airing cupboard sorted, sitting down now

Lol Pigges you jinxed yourself earlier in the week by saying DD2 had been no trouble and would change net week.
Washing in, olympic viewing takes up a lot of the day.

Nah.. she isn't any trouble.. she will always be found out and she will always be a terribly bad liar and she will realise I do actually have spies everywhere. She's just a bit daft sometimes. It was so funny though when I rang and asked to speak to her friend lol.
I did say I don't mind if she has a boyfriend.. so long as he isn't over 18 it is ok.. perfectly normal.. BUT I think it is only courteous for her to have him meet us before going to his house and that if she is having sex, cos they all do eventually, she is being sensible and we can go to the GP/clinic if she wants... that conversation is far more squirmworthy than anything else.. I love my job sometimes!

Anyhoo... I did a quick fling on the landing.. I filled a wash basket, 1 carrier of rubbish, 2 boxes for CS and/or ebay which I need to sort through, got a stack of bedding away and some stuff on top of the wardrobe and even managed to vacuum!

DD on the trampoline dressed only in a nappy and socks. She decided to put HER HEAD in the bucket of soapy water

I grabbed her out of it, saying "what are you doing?" and she said "washa hair, mummy" lol omg it's a good job I know she's a nutter and always have my eye on her....

She will go far, this little girl, your reports of her make me laugh

I am a homemaker at heart and just having the time at the moment to devote to my family and home is so lovely. It really is.

Yes in the real world I will need to get another job and I am currently updating my c.v.

But for the moment at least I am trying to be a more old style kinda gal. :)

    Good for you :A

PS I read bits out of the forum to DS yestdi and said 'Can you see why I like these people?' His reply?; 'Yes Mum. They're as mad as you are!' :rotfl::rotfl:

    Yes, and.... ??!! :rotfl:

Another day at work, I've done washing and hanging up before and after, as well as DW which it seems does not operate unless I am in the building

**** rant alert re soon to be 18 yr old boys ****

    Are they all ungrateful sh*ts??

Apparently I should have 'informed' DS's dad that I wanted to attend the BBQ he is hosting next week for DS's 18th, as he was not pleased / not expecting me (mother) or DD (his daughter) to attend. We are all on very good terms and this was a shock to me and DD. All the more so when DS said he agreed with his Dad  This is the only event his dad has arranged for either of his children in the 13 years we have been apart; I've arranged and paid for everything else (and he and his wife have been invited to and attended most celebrations). I'd asked DS since new year what he wanted to do to celebrate his 18th and he said he didn't know & would let me know... next thing I know Dad's doing it and me and DD aren't welcome. I'm not happy :mad::mad:

Ho hum. I WILL rise above it.......

LOl (sorry!) this reminded me of DD who shocked Grandma by saying 'I call (DS) a liar'

because, according to her (about 4 YO) he was always lying down...

No consolation I know but he is male and they just do not think...but I would have thought 'step'mum would have managed to work this one out - because I know the men wouldn't have fathomed it...

Am impressed. Laundry returned dried and folded...from ExH's

This baby hates me.. She won't let OH touch her and is screaming every time I put her down.. I just need to sleep. :( My mouth is so sore and everytime I knock my jaw it wakes me up, I've not slept more than 2-4 hours at a stretch for the last 18 months at least I am just so tired I don't seem to be able to stop crying this morning and I feel incredibly sick.. OH of course is in bed even after I said it was his turn to get up with her surely..

WM x2 done.. just going to hang those out in a moment.
DW on.. should be done now actually .. so I'll see to that too.

Carrier of recycling filled so that can go out with the rubbish in a minute.. when I can summon the energy to move..

Squeak is squawking now so I best go get her too..
