Mummy.. I am not even going to ask about broken beds :p What stats do you need can any of us help?

    Re bed:

    Re stats: happy to help

Re piggers: :( You can't go on like this, you will get very ill & collapse and then what would the children do. OH needs a hard kick up the jacksie with a steel toe-capped boot, on the hour, every hour if necessary. And if the flylady bus has to do the rounds and come to you so flyladies can administer the kicks, so be it :D In the meantime please accept loads of strong, coping vibes and a wee hug xx

I've been up since 7am (why is it I struggle to get up for work but when I have the chance of a lie in I'm wide awake??), hung out one load of washing from last night, put another load on which now needs hanging out too. I've also unloaded the dishwasher and washed my muddy vegetables. And cleaned 2 cupboards.

I have now changed 3 stinky bums.. Cheers Squeak (x2) and Dot (x1)!

Off to fill a wheelie bin.. I found the swimming costumes which were misplaced when we got back from Ohs mums so Squeak got hers out and is nagging OH for schwimming.. not that he is listening.. she is just taking his upstairs lol.

Off for another cuppa, to the loo and find some drugs to see if they stop my mouth being to incredibly painful.. which I doubt..

Where can I clean and fling from today... back room or landing do we think?

    Good morning :D

*kick up the jacksie* vibes to Pigpen. Are you still BF? Is there any way you could go AWOL for a few hours at least? Some people never take responsibility if there is always someone else who will do it. Sometimes people need to be forced into it - and it makes them appreciate what other people do for them. Might be the kick he needs! ;)

Anyway - talking of kicks up the jacksie - I think I need one! :o

I need to get dressed & do something - anything! Dressed first I think..... I will be back later :)

    Morning all

I've finally caught up with fred and realised that I haven't posted for ages.

First of all, (((hugs))) and coping vibes to valli, pigpen, bonnie, dusty's DS3 and anyone else in need (should have made a list while I was reading :o).

Friday was very busy. I went out in the car to get rid of rubbish (skip, charity shop, old meds to chemist) while DH went to Mr M's with his friend and DS2. Then we really upset DS2 by going on an extended shopping trip - picking up AF order, calling at factory foods (similar to AF, but with frozen stuff, too), then costco and Makro. Spent a fair amount of grocery budget for the month and freezer is now closed due to overcrowding.

Then I decided that I really had to get the shelf from I**a to make space for all the stuff. After tea I set off and DS2 went to friends down the road. Came back with shelf :j and some plastic containers I'd missed on the previous trip. DS2 and I ended up watching most of the opening ceremony at friends and went home during the speeches (he'd fallen asleep) so we could watch the torch bit on the sofa. :D

Yesterday I finished clearing the old cellar shelves, swept floor, put piece of cushion flooring down that had been lurking in there and built the new shelf. Then started rehoming stuff and putting shopping away. Re-organised and wiped all food cupboards in the kitchen. There's still lots left to do (all tools and DIY stuff needs putting back) and I'll have to get a few small containers to keep things organised, but there's progress. :T

Now DH has suggested sawing the two spare posts in half and buying some more boards to create a smaller shelf for the remaining space - great idea, but I can't really face another trip up the motorway at the moment...

Bonnie - We're having massive problems with our 18-year old at the moment, who really is very selfish. He's made a major mistake and treats me as if I'm to blame. Never thought I'd say this, but I'm hoping he'll find a job and move out for a while. I can't understand why yours wouldn't want his mum and sister at his party, though. Doesn't make sense to me.

OK, time to grab something to eat and sort out my list.

    Morning

I got up at 10am thinking it was 9am - 'cause that's what time my mobi said - it obviously lost an hour in the night ?!?

Woke up to find AF was back  she's just visited for 28 days _pale_ , disappeared for 2 days, and now she's back....am well fed-up. Does anyone know if this is usual for a possibly menopausal 51, nearly 52, year old? :(:o

However I refuse to be chumbad :A

I've refilled Charlie's (budgie) seed and water; put out the trash from yesterdays Makki tea :o; put a hillock of washing into WM; and decluttered tea and toast - with ofsted jam :D. Don't always want to eat when am being chumbad, but I know I'll feel worse if I don't.

Am going to m&d's for lunch - Sunday roast :T - then DS wants to nip to MrT's to topup phone. Hoping to get first hillock on the line and second hillock into WM before we go.

    Have a good day

  • 2 loads of washing IN from the garden due to torrential rain - seemed to come out of nowhere *shrug* So now I have these 2 loads plus the load just finished, draped in my house. And I have to rewash 1 towel which I dropped in the rapidly forming puddles when I slipped on the patio running in from the rain :o Think the toddler next-door-but-one heard a few words he shouldn't have

Done dippy egg *gags* for DD. DS is still in bed. Little s*d. Don't want another argument so he can stay there and keep out of my way. I'm going to make a coffee and read my book for HH.

Hi all - is it OK if I come and make a nuisance of myself here on a Sunday?:rotfl: (For newbies - I don't often get on MSE at the weekend);)

Bonnie (((HUGS))) No advice (I never had kids so know zilch about them) - does occur to me to wonder if he's just mindlessly echoing his Dad, though, without actually engaging his own brain first? Just a thought.:o

Aww, poor you.:( Have a (((HUG))). No idea what's "normal" - I'm roughly the same age as you (a few months older, if I'm honest) and haven't seen hide nor hair of AF for just over three years - I'm hoping she's left me for good.

I've just made Valli's lemon cake (would have done it before, but we'd run out of lemons) - it looks and smells lovely, so hoping it will taste as good.

I've washed bath towels, too, and Mr LW has pegged them out for me (sorry Valli, the pegs were the first ones he picked up, so not matching):D and he's now tackling Mt Ironmore.;)

OH's who are still in bed at this time on a Sunday, take note!!:D:D:D

ETA Mt Ironmore has been levelled - he's cleared the lot, even the hankies!:A

Hello all. Well today, I've made a batch of yorkshire puds ( a bit overdone actually, but as I don't eat them, I don't care), walked the dogs, vacuumed the living room, put the beef in the slow cooker.

CBA to do the garden today, but have had a look at the ribbon for the wedding car. Will wait till DH is back with the car after work and will then try to work out how do do the bow in situ so to speak, as I still don't have a clue how I'm going to do it... will also have to help DH finish his speech later...and valet the inside of the car....

Going to have an early lunch next, then will do some more wedding prep, need to make sure all clothes are ready.

    Catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.
