    Hi everyone

This is just a quick check in from the tree-house, and I have to report not much flying done here, as this pharyngitis has moved on to an infection in the right lung, and I've been really weak and woozy (and I'm quite strong minded and try to overcome things by just getting up and getting on) but this is nasty. The cough is the worst thing and I'm so tired. I'm so glad I went and got antibiotics, only hope it's not a virus!

Anyway! I get a bit of strentgh after a shower, so, managed to S&S bathroom and kitchen, put the WM on, OH did the DW. Damp dusted a bit and used wet wipes to clean iPad, remotes etc to try and keep germ-less if not germ-free! Cat is keeping me company, bless him! He usually likes to sleep in the grass when it's sunny.

OH has been a trouper and done the meals and plenty of cuppas, he is just off to the shops to get more supplies. We usually eat plenty of fruit and veg etc, but am trying to eat more and he's getting probiotic yoghurt.

Loved the Olympic ceremony last night (esp the James Bond spoof) but just, this minute, Mark Cavendish hasn't won the cycling event.

I'm sorry, I did read back, but my mind has gone blank, so I can't remember how everyone is, but thank you for the get well messages, and here's some warm vibes coming back to you. X

    Since my last post:
    got dressed
rinsed out 7 cans and put in recycling box
hung out first load from WM
    put 2nd load in WM
    rinsed out plastic squash bottle
    watered hanging basket
put plastic bottle into recycling bin
drove 60 mile round trip to take spare trailer tyre to Dad, who phoned to say he had a 'puncture' (tyre was totally shredded) and the spare was in his garage (just around the corner from me)
hung out 2nd load from WM
    put 3rd load in WM
brought 1st load in and folded
started to sort Mount Washmore into separate hillocks ready to feed to WM

well it's a start :) and the sun is still shining but it's not too hot

hope everyone is having a good day xx

Hello everyone. Well I've not a lot of GUAG today. Have meal planned, done the weekly shop and walked the dogs (a long way) but this aft have just had a snooze. And I've such a lot I must get done this weekend including prep for wedding next week. Still don't know how to attach ribbon to the car and make it look fancy in a bow at the front. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

Off to cook the food which would have been BBQ'd but the weather isn't as great now as it was this morning.
Spend less now, work less later.

I need to go into town today - my sister's sister is having a baby shower tomorrow, so I need to pick up something for that. Also need to go to Sainsbugs and return an iron I bought the other day - it's a steam gen iron and is useless - frankly a basics/ value iron gets creases out better :(:( Not sure they'll let me return it, though.. However if a £100 iron is beaten by a 3 year old £3.50 iron then something is not right...

If they are not playing ball (and they should be, as you say a £3.50 basic iron should NOT be performing better that the steam generator iron) remind them of the SoGA (Sale of Goods Act - which states that 'goods should be fit for the purpose intended'. And it is the retailer's responsibility too.

Electrics blew. Washer appeared to be problem; fuse changed in washer, fuse tested, washer still wont play. It is 'electrically dead'. A few months back I had new bushes fitted to it - and that was £50
ExH had sense to offer to take a load of washing with him, for us. I removed my panties from the washload first...well, it didn't seem right, somehow:rotfl:

So this year I have 'lost'

    one iron
    one kettle
    one TV

    and now a washer....

bear in mind I have just had a new kitchen  time

Does anyone want to buy a child...don't think I have anything else I can list now...:rotfl:

Valli.. if you fancy driving your washing here I'll do it for you.. ;)

    Kitchen dehovelled
everyone fed.. and soon to be caked..
    washing caught up
OH bought tesco.. or it looks like it!

I need to spend HHC on the landing while OH deals with the girls I think.. I have some bits in the wardrobe to sell so might get those out too... finish my cuppa first.

DD2 in trouble.. she told me she was going to a friends then we saw said friend sans DD2.. so I rang DD2 and asked to speak to the friend.. apparently she was in the shower... really?... lol.. said 'boyfriend' has been ordered to come to Squeaks birthday party next weekend.. he will so regret speaking to my daughter.. punishment beyond all comprehension. .. she is now to be escorted everywhere for a week or chaperoned by a younger sibling.. she will learn not to lie to me! Oh and of course the sex question was asked! she was only 15 on Thursday!
