As per usual, not really up-to-date with the thread, sorry. Hope everyone's ok. Hugs/spoons/get well vibes to anyone in need and lots of sticks for all the BDs - but please don't send mine back, last week's visit was enough thanks!
No flying done here at all last week. Doing slightly better this week but I'm not beating myself up about it - the garden has had a fair bit of attention instead, I've had 3 children to entertain and it's my holidays too - I need a rest! Going away tomorrow for a few days so will see if I can manage a bit more this afternoon but at least it all looks relatively tidy on the surface!

I shall at the very least be making bread, and [STRIKE]creating[/STRIKE] attempting a "lavender dolly" - that's like a corn dolly, but as I can't grow corn in my garden, it'll be made from lavender.:D

Next week will be the other way round, if I do that every week my house will be spotless .... oooooh pink pig just flew past my window! :D

Happy Birthday:bdaycake: to all celebrating and positive vibes, GW wishes to anyone who needs them.

    Enjoy your weekend ;)

    Thanks LameWolf and Shortbird

    Very interesting...

am particularly interested as bilberry (or, where I'm from, whinberry) picking is involved - because they make excellent pies ;)

    Anyway

The Vallilounge is immaculate. I have even wiped the plastic lining of the WASTE PAPER basket which lives in there and which is NOT supposed to be used for 'sticky' waste (ie lolly wrappers). The wii came back from its visit to DS's room. All wires were dumped on the floor. Well them as wants to play it can set it up; I've put them in the computer 'man' drawer ;)

I have also run the washer on a cleaning cycle, as a few grey streaks appeared on the mattress protectors. I shall use the lint roller on them though.

    So, still to do

    make bed
write the blimmin summer list before the END of summer

summer list stuff while I think on

    update ebay spread aheet
    update bank account spread sheet
write list of stuff to discuss with new job share

DS has had hold of my kindle and downloaded a sample of a book he's supposed to read for Geography. He's also supposed to read one 'about wolves' which he doesn't know the title of. I suggested it might be 'Call of the Wild' by Jack London and apparently it is - never read it myself but I saw an edition with a wolf on the cover - HOW I remembered title and author I don't know - but coming from one who has been accused of LEARNING Trivial Pursuit question answers perhaps to be expected :rotfl:

The spare room is all sparkly (well, as sparkly as I can get it, considering it's got 2 crates of stores plus Ted's "suitcase" in there).:D

Ted himself has had a good brush and been relieved of quite a bit of loose fur, so probably feels heaps better for that.:o

I've been online and ordered some morphine tablets - I won't hold my breath for the surgery getting it right, though. I've decided to keep a record of how many times they screw up over the next few months, with a view to making a written complaint.

I've also updated our finance spreadsheets, as Mr LW's salary and my pension have both gone in the bank today.

I have my Brain Training to do, and then that's all the "Must Do" tasks for today completed! I might even get a spot of cross stitch done - working on a Celtic Eagle at present.;)

I think that's an excellent idea - maybe do a few screenshots of the order forms too;)

Right, off to put stuff away, fold the clean/dry laundry that I've just been dumping into a big pile, move yesterday evicted shoes out of the way so that when Mr A comes later I have somewhere to dump the shopping! I also need to go out and see a couple of customers to make deliveries this evening once I'm sorted. I never go out before 6pm unless specifically asked to give peeps a chance to get home from work ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
