Hi budget babe, I am a newbie too!

Have not made much progress this week, it's just been too hot!

This morning it seems a bit cooler so am going to play catchup today and tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great day.

I hope that you got your much-needed lie-in, pigpen!

8:12 has passed and I didn't hear a thing, even though I was outside watering the pots and hanging baskets at the time. It sounded more like John Cage's 4'33" to me.

Oh no, dk, hope he's ok.

We are all up and dressed and fed. Going to bank after my cuppa, pay in a cheque, then going to my dads for an hour or so. Haven't seen him in about 4 weeks. Made butties for the tots and shoved em in my bag (butties, not tots) as all I hear from DS lately in "mum I'm hungry..." might pocket some bananas too. And they can take a toy each, although he does have a few bits there.

This afternoon we are planning to wash the playhouse. It's quite cobwebby so think we'll get a bucket of soapy water, some brushes and sponges, and give it a good hosing. Might have to pluck some snails off too

Kitchen s&s and DW loaded, not full. Pretty good shape apart from it being toy central...

Morning everyone. Just realised that I forgot to ring my bell at 8.12, but was just walking back through door at that time after walkies. I didn't hear any other bells either, so seems no one bothered in the village.

Well I've done no flying this week, just the dailies. Am back to the paid stuff in a mo, but aiming to take a proper lunch break and do some ironing.

Catch you later, have a good day everyone.

Emmmm, its 8.12pm. So the bells start the Olympic opening at 20.12
In my defense I have no interest and have been getting increasngly irratated with the exact countdown being the main headline on every news bulletin this week!

Happy Birthday Boddy - hope you have a lovely day!

Lots to do today as usual and then going to M&D's for tea tonight. I suppose I ought to get out of bed really and make a start!
