Hi all. Just had a lemon and honey drink that was really yummy! I might just go and make another one.

You all sound really busy - and Lamewolf - that doggie is adorable - bet you dont't want him to go back - but only minimal flying done here again, I'm afraid, as still got this bug. I had a much better night's sleep, but have an awful cough and am absolutely wiped out.
(Bossymoo, how are you today with your throat? I do hope you are getting better).

So today, I fed the cat and wild birds (baby blackbirds and noisy, growing starlings today) and got our cups of tea and porridge.

Back to bed as SO weary, but after my shower I rallied a little and S&S bathroom and kitchen, tidied a few things and mopped the kitchen and conservatory floors. OH said he would do it, but it still wouldn't be done! All that barely took 30 minutes, so have read, slept, watched a couple of 'house buying' progs and generally rested!

I'm usually quite well, but this has been a nasty thing. And I'm at the stage where food tastes funny! All salty or rich or just yuk, so that might help the diet!!

Good vibes to everyone and especially to anyone low or poorly, big wishes for better days to come. X

I have now folded 100 loads of washing and they are all away, paired a basket of socks, sorted delivery of Squeaks/Dots birthday present, sliced cake so it cools faster, loaded both WM's, hung 2.5 loads out, filled some more of charity bag 2, sorted Tiddles chest of drawers (will do ebay pics later).. Off to sweep the kitchen and vacuum through downstairs as it is hovelesque again.

STILL not got to bank or post office or anywhere else for that matter!

    Hi again!

Just an update to say hi to budget babe. I'm a newbie too! This site really does help you get organised and motivated, except I've got a really nasty throat bug at the mo, which is lying me low.

And before I forget, Bonnie, I hope your first big day went really well! X

    Hi to all and newbies!

Lol, my littlest has been a moo all day. Really grumpy, possibly teeth, she's quite dribbly but I can't see / feel anything at the back. She had a good nap though (we all did heehee).

Anyway, she has just completely overreacted to something and got herself in a strop. Eventually climbed up on my lap, and I asked "what's got into you this week?" and she replied "mad moo" hahaha I think she means "bad mood" lolol bless her. She really is a mad little moo.

Anyway, 2xwm done this morning, got ironing pile out but it's still scowling at me. Had a mini sort in DS cupboard whist he "tidied" his trucks and cars. There is a winter coat to wash and sell, and some other bits that were lurking a size too small.

MIL was at a carboot on Sunday, and has all sorts for us apparently so need to make room. I'm going to ask her (since she ends up buying most of their clothes) to help me sort through their stuff, when we are back from hol in September. That way she knows what they have plenty of, and what colours so we don't end up with something that has nothing to go with it. Plus she can see first hand that storing it all gets a bit tricky.

She's a great bargain hunter, and really enjoys it, but now and then they just end up with silly amounts of stuff that doesn't get used...

Anyway, DS room sorted. After a fashion...

    Weans room done
DDs wardrobe cleared out (only the bottom and that filled a black sack:eek:)
    OH out cutting the grass
DS2 just back from his pals and read the riot act about his room so he's now in a huff
NN nipped in for a chat and to drop me an invite to her wedding

Not sure if I will be in tomorrow as I'm going out clothes shopping (for myself!!!!:D:T) and I have a party to go to at night and it may take me the rest of the day to do my make up:rotfl:

My HHC over ran a tad...

    I managed to:
dust & polish the LR - including windowsills
dust & polish the DR table
    clear off mantle piece
empty hoover & clean out filter (that took a while!)
    hoover all of downstairs
handwash 2 tops & hang out to dry
general tidy of LR, hallway etc.

Not too bad, but it doesn't look a lot now I have typed it out :o

I need to cook dinner now, then tonight I may try to catch up on some paperwork.

Just managed to submit my OU assignment so I can finally get around to tidying :T (is it sad that I'm this excited about being able to clean the house and do some exercise? :rotfl:). Think I might also have a glass of wine, I've earned it! Cheers everyone and hope the flying's going well.

    - Exercise each weekday -
    [STRIKE]Monday [/STRIKE]- [STRIKE]Tuesday[/STRIKE] - Wednesday :( - [STRIKE]Thursday[/STRIKE] - Friday
    - Start taking pictures / making listings for things to sell on Ebay, we are still far too cluttered and if I can make enough profit selling my tat then I'd like to get rid of my MASSIVE dressing table and replace it with something a little more compact (and matching ;))
    - HH paperwork to sort and file
[STRIKE]- Yet ANOTHER letter to send to Capital One - they really are being massive pains atm [/STRIKE]
    - Trip to the bank to close / downgrade dormant account and stop paying fees

[STRIKE]- Get onto the HA as they still need to sort the back garden and there's not a lot I can do about it until they do it - it's a jungle out there! [/STRIKE]

Collect all the laundry, turn socks the right way for washing (or pair clean socks) - First load on, only about a million to go! :rotfl:
    [STRIKE]Clean a window or two[/STRIKE]
Wash the outside of the front and back doors
