went to mr M last night - we had NO milk and got 3 bags of spuds for 9p a bag; inc one for my mum. So DD and I have had jacket spuds for lunch. 9p croissants were for breakfast (DS).

have just taken DD to school - she's off to Old Trafford to watch th'olympic football (GB v Senegal apparently) and taken DS food tasting - he now goes and gets paid! DD has to leave her food on the coach - made her take a coolbag and an icepack - she wasn't awfully thrilled!

Pegged out washing - and emptied filter which seems to have been the cause of a water floor this morning

I'm hoping the silence from Pigpen Towers means that she is getting some sleep.....

Nope.. it means she is cleaning the kitchen and baking an immense cake for DD2's birthday and folding washing and yelling at a certain child who is being a cow today and generally playing dogsbody.

Dot is in bed though and OH is mincing the grass again.. it thought about growing lol

Well I'm still working on the kitchen but I think I may be getting somewhere with the cupboards at least - we won't talk about the rest of the kitchen. I need to finish the kitchen or at least do some more of it, sew DD's scout badges on, put the tombola stuff in the car, and sort out the stuff for sports evening. I may have to nip to Poundland as well or/and Mr As which I could do on the way to Beavers which would mean I would need to leave in about an hour and a 1/4. I suppose the dog might like a walk as well. Actually I don't think I'm going to have time to fit all this in! Oh and DH wants his trousers ironing for tomorrow which I could do later though and I'd better get my uniform on at some point too.

    Oh well, onwards and upwards!

I've done my maintenance for today - keeping clean and tidy bits clean and tidy. :D

    Progress at top of cellar:
    floor cleared and swept
2 shelves emptied and taken down
2 other shelves cleared - gibble replaced with paint pots
lots of stuff in the bin/charity shop bag/ready to take to skip

    Next:
When DH is home from doing a mobile haircut he can clear the last two shelves, as it's mainly DIY/tools. Then we can put cushion floor down (found a piece left over from bathroom which should fit) and sift through all the stuff that I've cleared out.

School run, too, in a minute.

Hello its another newbie here ;) though I have lurked for sometime. :o

Can I join you please starting on Monday if thats ok? I left my job of 9 years 2 weeks ago, the first week was terrible as I had pulled my back, but its much better now and I have been quite productive this week.

I am cleaning/clearing before I join in on Monday. I have also joined the Grocery Challenge thread and need to get meal planning too.

Can someone please tell me how I found the time to go to work? Still its nice to get into those nook and cranies that get overlooked when you have so little time.

Well done to everyone who is so organised :A very impressive.

So see you all on Monday.
