So, I'd been meaning to sort out the baking cupboard for a while because it had got a bit "shove it all in" AND it was on this week's list so I thought I'd do it quickly this morning before I got dressed and we planned our day.
    Guess what I found?? Weevils..
That's my morning gone then.. and LOTS of expensive ingredients that were in there.
My flour and sugar are (mostly) in lock and locks already but lots of open bags of nuts and things have had to go.
    :(

Well I've emptied 1.5 cupboards and washed all my baking trays and cleaned 1 of the cupboards. Now I've got to finish emptying the other cupboard and then decide what's going where. You wouldn't believe the amount of packet stuff I've found stuffed in 1 of the cupboards - a lot of it OOD but should be still ok to use if my DH doesn't find out.

Oh well I suppose I'd better carry on - HHC @ 10.30 anyone?

    Morning all

Happy Birthday to pigpen's DD2 and (((hugs))) to everyone facing some adversity or other.

It's overcast and dry again today, but not cold. The internet was down for a while last night, so I had some catching up to do.

So far I've deposited DS2 for his last day at school, with tubs of HM buns for his teachers and support staff (instead of wine and chocs). Also decluttered breakfast and cups of tea. DH has gone out with his mate from across the road and I'm trying to locate some GUAG, which I must have put in a very safe place, as I can't find it now...

I'll update the list and see where I am.

    Monday - Bathroom and Hall/Stairs/Landing
    [STRIKE]Clean the sink and toilet[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]HH clearing the clutter from these areas[/STRIKE]
Hoover these areas and wash the floors
    Clean [STRIKE]bath[/STRIKE] and or shower
    Wash any winter coats
Wipe the tiles [STRIKE]and window ledges[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Collect all the laundry[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]pair clean socks[/STRIKE]
    Clean [STRIKE]a window[/STRIKE] or two
Wash the inside and outside of the [STRIKE]front and[/STRIKE] back doors
Tuesday - Living Room and computer desk
Clean the tv/computer screens ready for olympic viewing
    [STRIKE]Finish a job from yesterday's list[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Hoover any of the floor you can see[/STRIKE]
    Dust any fluffy surfaces
    Sort out your desk drawer
Wipe up any cup marks/sticky finger prints
    HHPaperwork
    Sweep the path/patio
    Empty all bins
    Sort out the DVDs/CDs
Wednesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Hoover and mop the floor
[STRIKE]Shine the sink, clean your plugs and plughole[/STRIKE]
Wipe the seals of the fridge and freezer
    Clear and wipe the sides
Sort out your baking cupboard - use up any end of packets OOD stuff
    [STRIKE]Catch up on laundry[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clear a hotspot[/STRIKE]
    Tidy the books
[STRIKE]Collect any plates/cups etc from around the house[/STRIKE]

    Sharpen the pencils
    Thursday - Any bedroom
    Strip the bed and remake
Do something from the previous days lists
Hoover bits of floor you can see
    HH sorting/tidying/decluttering
Wash a pillow or two or a sleeping bag
    Wipe the light shades
    Hoover under the bed
Spend sometime with the kids/doing crafting

Plan for today is to tackle the top of the cellar steps... Need courage as well as GUAG for that. And some cushion floor and cheap, but sturdy shelving from I**a ... An AF order needs collecting, but that's in the opposite direction. Can't come up with a sensible plan, which isn't like me. At least tea will be easy, 'cos DH came home from the pub with ham and eggs. :)

    Mornin' all.

Jojo I'm with you on adopting the burqa/niqab, I think.;) What I didn't mention yesterday was that I had to be extra careful to stay in the shade.:o With the bad shoulder, I can't be sure of applying my Factor 30 to every tiny bit, and of course Mr LW hasn't got time to do it for me before work this week, as he's been leaving at 06:00. Still, I managed to get a third of a large wheelie bin full of garden detritus yesterday (my back and shoulder are whinging about it today, but hey-ho) so it's a start.:o

I've told Mr LW that if it's not actually raining at the weekend, he's getting his tail out the front, because it's a disgrace out there. I'll go out there with him and do what little I can; but honestly, 2-foot high hawkweeds don't look very good, methinks.

Piggers kick OH out of his pit and get him to look after small folk and grab yourself a kip
Piggers wot she said! If he can go out drinking to the point of upchucking, it won't hurt him to look after the piglets when he's got over it. Sleep deprivation is unfunny, and it sounds like that's what you're suffering.

I do know something about sleep deprivation, btw - between Mr LW driving the pigs home, the broken street light outside our bedroom flashing on and off all night, the pack of yappers (eight dogs, at least two of which are Maltese Terriers) across the close giving it their all at 03:00, the pain shooting down my arm when I turn over in bed, and when I do finally fall asleep I get nightmares, I'm not doing so well myself on the sleep front.

Bedroom day today, so a relatively easy one Flying-wise.:o

I must do some sausages later, too, as we have sausage salad on the meal plan tonight - we're living on salads this week, as it's easier while Mr LW is traveling to Reading.;) I've been having mine at 18:00 as I dislike eating late. I'm not keen on eating alone, so I have mine when Ted has his dins.:D

We're still alive I think.. I cannot do much more of this...

OH still in bed.. I was up at 3 with DS3, 5 and 7 with Dot.. after going to bed at 12 this is not good!

    AH Pigpen

Im currently suffering from insomnia which feels like torture especially with an 8 year old, a 2 year old, a small dog and a useless OH so I cant imagine having your brood and have sleep deprivation.

Only think I can recommend is to give yourself me time, even if it is by yourself for an hour or so doing the food shop. I will be out next week doing mine by myself once Owen comes home because its the only time I get me time. I take myself off for a quiet coffee before I start and have 10 - 15 minutes reflecting, turn my phone off as *magically* I don't get signal in Tesco and bimble my way round the aisles. Plus it might give OH a kick up the !!!! to what you put up with all day.

    x

hope you feel better soon hun.
    Time to find me again

  • Morning flyers dull and grey here today.
I have done hee haw so far apart from WM and TD and a wee tidy of the LR floor so I had better find a list and get started. I have my cousin and his gf coming over in a wee while.

:bdaycake:Happy birthday to Piggers DD x

    off to get my list!
to top it off yesterday I woke up with an abscess too but when I saw the dentist she said it is draining. They will be taking the tooth out on the 17th, she did give me the option of dental chair, hopsital with a general anaethetic or being fully sedated. Although this causes nothing but more issues for me as I have a phobia of taking medications so she has given me antibiotics to take but even the thought of taking them is giving me panic attacks after panic attack - again not good with a two year old! Plus the idea of being put under and not waking up scares me too!

So seeing as its draining today and I am in no pain I am going to leave taking it today, and Owen is off tomorrow so I will try my damdest to take it when he is here tomorrow. I dont know why but he can be the biggest KH going some days but after 10 years I still find it reassuring when hes around.....it must be love :p

    .
I have a total phobia of the dentist when I need work done (thats when I allow them) I have a jag done in my hand it causes short term [STRIKE]amnisia [/STRIKE] (canny spell that!) memory loss which means I remember nothing but have been awake the full time. Bit mental but it works for me I really need to get to the dentist my teeth are a mess just need to pluck up the courage to get through the door!
    I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged
