    Toooooo hot.

Went to the salon. Would have been nice to have pretty nails, a pedicure, a facial - but no, I have to have a major wax depelting and threading instead. Any more hair and I'd have been dustbathing in the garden with the splats.

I'm using the lawnmower next time - or adopting the burqa/niqab.

So I have pigged out on salad, dates and yoghurt and I'm going to try and prettify my toes as much as I can when it's such a looooong way down to my feet these days.

The splats are actually up and about, but they are in foul tempers.

So I'm avoiding cat politics and drinking copious quantities of vimto and lemonade tonight.

    I'm melting again....
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Hi, not much flying gone on here although I have cooked and eaten today. I did set DW on but not emptied, and there is more stuff on the side now. Finding it much easier to swallow. Dunked tots before bed omg they are dirty little critters. They had supper and were in bed by 7.10 (little moo) and 7.30 (bigger moo). Have collected up laundry and sorted first load ready for morning, although apparently it might rain here. So it might end up on airers anyway.

Having a quiet one at home tomorrow, littlest is very tired, hope she's not sickening for something, but even nursery have said she's been a bit touchy and melodramatic. We'll do a communal nap after an easy picnic lunch I think. She'll probably sleep for 3 hours... I bet DS could be persuaded to a nap too. Hmmm. Then of course, I will have to partake! For my health, you understand...

Minimal flying here, just dailies, it's melting hot. I've been on my feet all day and will be again tomorrow; been trying to move as slowly as possible in an oven of a shop whilst still getting stuff done. I have LOADS of ironing to get through but still can't face it in the heat. I am a wimp. My plan is to tackle housework on Friday when it should be cooler and rainy.

Sorry to hear your news funfairprincess ((hugs))

Glad you are feeling brighter bossy and rowan tree

I'm off to my bed now. Sleep well all.

Good shout pigpen for the crutches. Rolled up towelling socks gave relief to my boys last year.

    Happy birthday to your DD

FFP Its a difficult time - do what is best for you with regards the funeral, everyone else will have to deal with their own issues. Hugs.

Thanks for the support and advice. The CF has 10 weeks to go and intends to work until she goes into labour. She anticipates being back at work in a week. As you can see its a strange situation. She is joined at the hip to the owner and he listens to what she says, she is queen bee and answers to no one. It was good to have a day out with the kids yesterday. If I get any grief today I will tell them i will work the contracted 16 hours I will leave when I go on holiday. I really need them to do the firing so I can get the severance I am entitled to.

Beach towels on the line. The house is looking rather unloved but it will have to wait until tonight.
