If I look at it like this, there's lots left to do. However, many of the things I've done don't feature on here, so that's ok. I figure that since the house is in such a state and everything needs doing anyway, I may as well cherry-pick the bits I feel like doing at the time. It's paying off so far. 3 rooms are now better and I've got more than 5 weeks left to get them to 'good'. :D

Time to finish my coffee, throw some clean clothes on and go for DS2. :j

FFP sorry to hear your sad news, lots of hugs coming your way, when my real Dad died some years back his Mum wouldn't go to his Funeral, she said she would never see a child of hers buried, no-one minded, she sat at home and thought of him when the funeral was being held,

    Waves to Boddy

I've done lots of stuff today, DD even got in on the act and spent an hour or so going through all her tat and getting rid of lots of it, her bedroom is now lovely and clean.

WM x 4, TD x 4 [couldn't get it all out on the live or airer] bits tidied up all over the place

Quite pleased with my progress today :]]

Okay, so I was really naughty yesterday as I'm struggling with an OU assignment atm (due in tomorrow ) so housework has fallen away a bit, but hoping to catch up somewhat today - my list is now ENORMOUS!

    Monday - Bathroom and Hall/Stairs/Landing
    Level one

    Clean the sink and toilet
HH clearing the clutter from these areas

    Level two
[STRIKE]Hoover these areas and wash the floors[/STRIKE]
    - will do this as soon as DH is up (he's been working late, he's not just idle :rotfl:)
    Clean bath and or shower
    - I also need to work out how to repair the shower as DH has managed to break it with his hamfisted ways
    Level three
Wash any winter coats - coats are all clean and hung up, but need to go through them and decide which ones to sell / charity shop and do any repairs needed (DH seems to eat buttons)
Wipe the tiles and window ledges

HHI - I am DEFINITELY going to do this today - have been hiding from my ironing for much too long and it's now reaching ridiculous proportions

Tuesday - Living Room and computer desk
    Level One
Clean the tv/computer screens ready for olympic viewing
Finish a job from yesterday's list
    Level Two
Hoover any of the floor you can see
    Dust any fluffy surfaces
    Level Three
Wipe up any cup marks/sticky finger prints

Jobs for kids to do/help with
    Sweep the path/patio
    Empty all bins
    Sort out the DVDs/CDs

Wednesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Hoover and mop the floor
    Shine the sink,
    Level Two
Wipe the seals of the fridge and freezer
    Clear and wipe the sides
    Level Three
    OOD stuff
    Catch up on laundry
    Clear a hotspot

Jobs for kids to do/help with
    Tidy the book
Collect any plates/cups etc from around the house
    Sharpen the pencils

    Additional:

    -
iCMA 44 due in by Thursday
    - TMA 05 due in by Thursday
    -
Take Ebay parcels to the post office and get them sent
    - Spare room needs to be made safe for little nephew
    - Go through the cupboards and fridge and make a list of useby dates to ensure things get used up rather than wasted
    - Exercise each weekday - Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday
    - Start taking pictures / making listings for things to sell on Ebay, we are still far too cluttered and if I can make enough profit selling my tat then I'd like to get rid of my MASSIVE dressing table and replace it with something a little more compact (and matching ;))
    - HH paperwork to sort and file
    - Yet ANOTHER letter to send to Capital One - they really are being massive pains atm
    - Trip to the bank to close / downgrade dormant account and stop paying fees
    - Pester DH to call the insurance company and ask them to reissue a cheque I accidentally put through the wash :rotfl:
    - Get onto the HA as they still need to sort the back garden and there's not a lot I can do about it until they do it - it's a jungle out there!

Collect all the laundry, turn socks the right way for washing (or pair clean socks) - First load on, only about a million to go! :rotfl:
    Clean a window or two
Wash the outside of the front and back doors

Hello there. Been busy with the paid stuff again. The only thing done from today's list (sort of) is sorting out some books/mags/recipes in the kitchen. That's it for me today, being treated to a meal out later and I'm now the proud owner of a K*ndle so flying may take a back seat!

    Have a lovely evening all.

FFP.. are you coming to see me then? I am pleased your SIL's were nderstanding.. tbh I wouldn't care who did or did not go to a funeral.. grief is very personal and some people like to remember people in their own way.

    Heloo all

ironed this am; pegged out YET MORE washing then have been into work again. Have nearly finished getting classroom in order, have managed to clear one hotspot (ugh silverfish) and had removed the piece of furniture that was 'hosting' another hotspot so looking MUCH better; have organised trays to replace desk; one tray for register, dinner register and joint diary (to be used for messgaes so that we can either record message on day received (ie little Johnny now needs to wear glasses, can you check) or appointments for kids ie Miranda will be at the Hospital on Thursday and will be collected at 11:30 type messages. Also have tray for key stuff ie post it notes, liquid paper (3 bottles I have found) staples etc etc. Looks very organised. I now feel almost ready to get new colleague in and show her this is how it is;) have also returned stuff to stock room as there was lots.
I am not, however, a control freak ;) unlike some...

Oh it's grumpy in the Dusty house.

The rashy one is hot and bothered, having a temperature in this heat cannot be fun.

The working one is very grumpy but gone back for 3rd shift of the day now

The one that does not like to wash has been told no dinner unless you in the shower.

    TG AF is not due.

    Finished Monday's list.

Don't faint, anyone, but I actually did a little one-handed gardening out the back!

I've tidied the greenhouse, done a spot of dead-heading, and pulled/cut back the hypericum and lysimachia that are invading from next door.

Ted helped - he lay in the shade on the patio and supervised.:D He also pooed on the back lawn, but hey-ho.

Front is in dire need of attention, but that will have to wait - I am NOT going out there without Mr LW with me - too damn scared!:eek::eek: and perhaps another

Nearly time for Ted's dins, now.;)
