    Hi all,

Mega nap time here this aft, dd was not impressed when I woke her, but it was tea time  anyway, she soon perked up when we lifted the playhouse on to the lawn and brought a bucket of soapy water out. Has been scrubbed and now almost dry, all plants watered, and even took bucket out front, where I'd lifted the garage freezer out to defrost earlier (with a sign saying defrosting, please don't take me), so that has been washed too, and is drying ready to lift back in...

So, a few practical frog type things this aft. And DS has tidied away his train track in favour of his micro machines fire engine. DD on the trampoline dressed only in a nappy and socks. She decided to put HER HEAD in the bucket of soapy water

I grabbed her out of it, saying "what are you doing?" and she said "washa hair, mummy" lol omg it's a good job I know she's a nutter and always have my eye on her....

Hi budget babe, I am a newbie too!

Have not made much progress this week, it's just been too hot!

This morning it seems a bit cooler so am going to play catchup today and tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Hi Frugalgal, and also thank you to everyone else for the lovely welcome.

Well you may wonder where Budgie has been all day? Yes de-cluttering and cleaning, Dad is at the hospital all day today for his chemotherapy, so I have used the time wisely.

So do we want to know what lay under Budgies en-suite plug :eek:To say the least it wasn't good. :o Its when you start getting under that nitty gritty that you realise, yep you need to join the flylady thread.

Still motoring on and joining in the daily lists from Monday, I have to say though that you all do seem a lovely bunch and the encouragement you show each other is really lovely. :A

Its only been 2 weeks since I have been at home, but I am finding it nice at the moment, I spoke to my friend from work again today, she was so stressed over Japenese Knowtweed, (don't ask) then a timber and damp report, thats no to mention the targets etc etc.

I am a homemaker at heart and just having the time at the moment to devote to my family and home is so lovely. It really is.

Yes in the real world I will need to get another job and I am currently updating my c.v.

But for the moment at least I am trying to be a more old style kinda gal. :)

I have also started a spending diary today too.

Bless everyone, I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

had a phone call from my very delighted friend who is thrilled with her sparkly bathroom...

She says I can go again next Friday. This is good; as the wall tiles (other than in the shower cubicle) won't want washing.

    Level 2 done.

Went to the hospital to check out my follow up appointment but it appears I don't have one.

I've been out most of the day then to my daughters for my birthday tea.

Still not caught up with the thread I'm afraid.

    Morning all,

Well, this morning I need to cut the lawn. Very doable as I have a new shed door that opens! It's lovely.
I also need to pack the tots up as they are going to inlaws after lunch. I'm going to THE SALON omg to have MY NAILS DONE and eyebrows decluttered. Using up a birthday voucher from last month...

Tonight, I am going dancing! My auntie turned 50 last week and for her birthday we are going on a dinner / dance night at a nearby hotel. Theme is Abbamania! Lol.

Will give the tots a proper dinner before they go, have some sliced beef defrosting in the fridge, and they can have veg and Yorkshire puds and gravy...

Then if I have time I will go in the garage of doom and put the freezer back together...

    Morning All

I'm just printing off a load of leaflets for the Scout group for the carnival tomorrow as we've got a stall there. I also need to go to Makro to get some cans of pop. Other than that I'm not sure what's happening - loads to do here of course so we'll see how it goes.

Bossymoo - have a lovely time - you deserve it.

Dusty - hope DS is feeling better today.

Hope all the other poorlies are feeling better today too.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
