how did you find out the weasel is in Sweden? Sadly I paid with a debit card so have no comeback on that front. I'm going to contact police now - have already done trading standards. Need to get my money back fast as I need to order from somewhere else. I'm a full time carer full my completely disabled mother who lives with me in a house thats just too small - we desperately need some more space, I'm currently paying for my furniture to be in storage. Here's a laugh, Catalin said he would reimburse me for it - what a joke. Any advice you've got to offer would be very much appreciated.

call your bank and ask if they do a chargeback scheme, even if you payed by debit card you may get your money back

Just found this forum, wish I had seen it before.

I have also paid for and not received a cabin from SM. I have been trying to get them to answer a phone or email or even the live chat but to no avail.

I note that SM have moved their registered address from Cumbria to their virtual address in London. I wonder if their director is ready to jump ship?

Does anyone know where in Sweden the cabins are made?

It seems there are many of us that have been taken in by these guys. I have registered a complaint with Trading Standards and with the police via action fraud website. They were still trying to sell cabins on line a couple of days ago - unbelieveable. On speaking to trading standards they informed me they didn't have the London address, only the Cumbria one. Please log your experience with action fraud, the more complaints the better, these people are absolute scum and have to be stopped. I'm also going into my local police station to make a statement, plus contacting Watchdog and the national press, you might like to try doing the same, what's to lose?

I will be making complaints to Trading Standards and the police, especially since it would seem that this isn't the first time that Catalin has been involved in such business. He was the director of Cedexx Services UK Ltd that was dissolved in September 2010. The company sold log cabins.

He's either a con man or an extremely inept business man! Either way, he still needs to be made to pay. Don't know where he is now but he would appear to spend a lot of time in Romania. And what about Robert Charles Ramage, it's supposed to be his company! And of course, Dana Collins, still trying to run the con on line although it would appear she can only do it part time, perhaps she's found another scam to occupy her time. They'll be found eventually, they can't hide forever and I know there are a lot of people looking for them - wouldn't want to be them.

Gentlemen - I did get my money back thanks to Sussex Police - see previous entry by me.
Ordered a replacement from 1Klick Log Cabins - delivery given as 6 weeks - 6 weeks later cabin delivered and erected by their team in 7 hours.
Super quality super service.
Have SM Garden Buildings EVER delivered a log cabin? I don't think they have.
Signing off now - good luck to the rest of you who have been conned, I hope you all get your money back.

Message to mannotbeast - have you resolved your situation with these charlatans? Also, could I have the information you managed to find out about them? I've gathered quite a bit myself, just wanted to know if there was anything different?

Has anyone on this forum managed to make any progress with refunds, courts, trading standards, police etc

I am going to form an action group to get the authorities to act - if you are interested please let me know.
