I am getting panicky now! We ordered in beg of Aug but only when Catalin promised that it will be delivered on 20th Aug. I did not turn up - they said some manufacturing problem and it will definitely be delivered on 31st Aug - again no show. Since then I was talking to him on daily basis and every day he has a new excuse that its on way but truck broken down, then they have taken truck back to warehouse and will assign new truck! When i ask Catalin to give me contact number of delivery company - he always ignore that!

Till last Thursday atleast Catalin was picking the phone! But now they are not reachable on phone at all! i am really getting worried now - paid just under £3000 for log cabin and no contact! No reply coming back on emails as well.. More worried now after reading this thread as it seems I am not the only one and its a bigger issue than I thought!

I am going to wait latest till Tuesday else I will go to their office in Battersea!

Hi, I originally posted the above on 8th Sep. After numerous delivery promises and excuses, cabin never came. I have got the full refund but no compensation for lost time, stress and money! (which they did promise at one time!)

I do want to now go to TRading Standard - could anyone who has experience with Trading Standard - please advise on the best approach?

I was told my money would be refunded to my credit card via Paypal as they are the company used to process credit cards for SM Garden Buildings. As I was on the phone various documents were emailed to me which looked as if they came from Paypal.
The money did not arrive!!! I was told that was due to the fact that the transaction was over 30 days old.
Please could I email my bank details so that my refund could be made directly to my bank account - it didn't arrive.
I went to Bognor Police station but the police didn't seem to interested but I left my contact details. Within two hours I received a phone call from the police asking that I call at the police station again to make a statement. When I went back to the police station the officer had down loaded all the information he could find on GM Garden Buildings and while I was there tried to phone them. He eventualy got through and was told that they would check out the order and phone back. This they did and were probably suprized to find that the phone call from Sussex Police was genuine.
Within a very short time the money was refunded to my credit card. MANY THANKS SUSSEX POLICE.

have been going through same process promised log cabin 2-4 weeks i phoned up got a delivery date and of course no show even after catilan saying that he spoke to the driver and he was 20 mins away, then could not get hold of them via phone , email or chat, 4 days later managed to get through and they could not give me no explanation for the no show delivery said they would refund my £2500 via paypal they sent me all the proof over showing the transaction but i spoke to paypal and they said there was no possible way i would get the money as paypal do not pay back to bank cards it has to get payed to the paypal account and said that it was just a scam, still no refund, today i have been in contact with the fraud police who are going to start to investigate. actionfraud.police.co.uk[/url] tel number 03001232040 please ring more complaints the better, also am now going to ring trading standards tomorrow to find out the next steps,watchdog will be getting involved tomorrow theses need to be stoped and if i dont get my refund i will make dam sure i bring this company down

Thank you for finding their true address Colinpuds.
I ordered a log cabin in July and have had nothing but empty promises since. Yesterday, I filled in a fraud report to actionfraud as you suggested.

i am now taking it further with solicitors they simply cannot get away with it i going to take the false promises and lies and screw them in court, i dont care how much it costs me i just want to come face to face with the so called catilin, i may even pay a visit i got 2 weeks off so may take a little holiday up there , will keep you all posted

I ordered and paid £4K for a log cabin back in August and have been fobbed off and avoided ever since. The latest delivery date given was for yesterday but of course nothing arrived and of course no one responded to my many calls and e mails. I e mailed Catalin and gave him 24hours to refund the money to my account and if he didn't, assured him I would go to the police as I'm quite sure they're a fraudulent business! Obviously I've had nothing back whatsoever - how did you get on with reporting them?

you need to get in touch with your credit card company which your covered for or bank if you used debit card and do a chargeback scheme
