(((HUGS))) Nicola.
Sorry I haven't been around for ages. Still doing well here - we've been outside so much and the garden is looking great (shame about the house LOL!)
There are some HUGE celebrations going on here - well done everyone and more (((HUGS))) for Nicola - what is the latest on your furry friend?
Bigpaws x0 -
thanks for the hugs, they are much needed
She's okay, not any better though. Mum's going to take her to the vets tomorrow as well. I'm also going to ring and book an appointment at the doctors because I can't stop coughing and can't find my inhalers anywhere

nicola, hope your dog is ok
spent nothing on friday night so
yesterday met some people in the pub and spent £13.95, but considering I was in the pub from half 4 till 10, i think that's acceptable. then (grrrrrr - REALLY annoyed about this) had to pay £2 to get the bus home because my oyster card only had 60p on it. REALLY annoyed because on oyster a bus journey is £1 so they could have let me go 40p in defecit? i'm obviously going to have to top it up again because i cant get around london without it grrrrrr. alternatively, they should have a function on the bus to allow you to top up your oyster card, dont you think?!?!
really peed off about that.
today spent £6.50 in the launderette washing my big blanket and have now put it away until the winter.
also spent £5 on a top/cardie from matalan for work. i started a new job in the winter and its very corporate so I fear i will have to buy some corporate style summer clothes - more money!
so sorry girls, not a complete NS weekend, but did the best i could and have spent a FRACTION compared to what I normally would spend.
good to see you are all doing so well.
pay day in 12 days!***PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT***

Morning all
Nicola - Hope your dog is ok today, let us know how you get on at the vets. Also hope you get doc app for yourself x
Chele - Wow, you're doing really well, well done
Sorry I've not been in for ages.... feel like I've let everyone down as I've spent loads recently, well it seems it!!! Bought pizza last nite from Dominos for BF and I.... £14.95  but it was BOGOF so we had 2 large pizzas with enough left over for some lunch today.
So, I'm not going to dwell on my bad ways but will start afresh today! Promise! I do need to spend some money this week, new clothes for work but I'm getting that money back from job centre (incentive to go back to work) so that won't count, also nursery fees but again necessary.
So today is the start of my unnecessary spending challenge and I won't fall at the 1st hurdle :rotfl:"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hi to all, had a half day at work today, Ive been knackered for a few days now, need a bit extra rest!
Nicola hope you and your dog are ok. It does always seem like stuff like that happens at once, I hope something nice happens to compensate soon.
Nice to hear from Bigpaws and Tigzem - hope you are enjoying your garden again today, Tigzem well done for deciding to start again. Just think of the money you will save between now and payday that you might have spent if you hadn't been determined!
Winkle that is really frustrating. I don't use oyster but I won't get on a bus if it means paying £2. I can remember when it was 20p, and Im not 30 yet!! Maybe you should write to TFL and complain about it? They might take your suggestions on board.
Well done Chele keep it up :T you are keeping the rest of us going as well!
Had an NSD yesterday, and having another today. Trying to follow through for the rest of the week, having a little break from ebay, sick of the sight of it at the mo!!
Don't forget, 'Stop spending, stop spending'!! :rotfl:I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Thanks guys for being so nice. The dog has an appointment at the vets at 2:50PM. I'm nervous, never like going to the vets. I couldn't get a doctors appointment today so I'm going tomorrow at 5PM. Having a NSD as, apart from the vets, I'm not going anywhere
HOpe everyone else has a good day.

Hi everyone
Good to see some old friends back on the challenge!!:T
Good luck for this afternoon at the vets Nicola - thinking of you;)
I was going for a NSD today but went into Morrisons at lunch time and spent 85p on 2 tins meatballs in tomato sauce (OH's favourite but he only gets em when they're on offer so thought I'd treat him cos should be 58p per tin so saved 23p):D
That'll be it for today though and that comes from grocery budget so still no unnecessary spending this month:j
Keep up the good work everyone.
Speak later

Tadaa, I def will do!
spent £13 on electrolysis at lunchtime - i have to do this every few weeks or there's no benefit but apart from that a NSD.***PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT***

Nicola, how did you get on at the vets? Hope you and your dog are feeling better soon. Dogs and babies are a nightmare when not well as they can't tell us what's wrong. I sympahise with your health problems too -me, I have inhalers everywhere, or so it seems.
Now today went well, until I found the car turning into Mr T's on the way home. Now, yes, I did need the milk, but the way that packet of licorice allsorts screamed at me was just not playing fair! Sorry everyone, my resistance to temptation was at an all time low! Mind you, it was "found" money I used - I have one of those vast "organiser" bags that hide everything - I emptied mine looking for a memory stick...and found £12.70 lurking at the bottom!Resolution:
