    Mortgage-free Glee!
Thanks for the good wishes folks! The pills are really strong - I only surfaced a couple of times all day yesterday and I slept all night. However, when I do wake I feel sick so have decided to cut back a bit at least this am so as I can try to get some school work done (and my fingers sort of slipped on the keys to get on this site!!!). Am perched in diningroom as can lever myself upright using the table I hope! Enjoy your days folks!

Hope you feel better soon beemuzed (hugs). I went shopping today to get some food to take back to uni so that's good. Treated myself to a coffee and kitkat in a little cafe :) Am ashamed to say I bought myself 3 books as well. ( ) they were 3 for 2 though, so i saved £7 on one.. lol oh well, i'll enjoy reading them ;) The upside is that I got paid today, so is it allowed? lol :rotfl:

    Hi everyone

Had an unplanned spend today in Asda as colleague dragged me there at lunch time:eek:

However, got some food bargains as tuna, coffee, etc were on offer so still only spent on groceries budget anyway. Phew!!!!!!!!!:D

Good luck with your essay Nicola :D How many words have you got to do? It's a long time since I've had to write an essay but I used to count the words every few lines to see how far I'd got!! :rotfl:

Have spent £3.70 on groceries today from Morrisons - some of their offers but that's it now until pay day and still within grocery budget for this month :j

The end is nigh for my challenge, so looking forward to seeing how much I've managed to save this month. :T

    Hope everyone's having a good day. Weather's lovely here.

Hi all glad you are feeling better Nicola sorry to hear about your back beemuzed, sympathy I had a disc move a couple of months back, its still not quite right - agree sitting down is a complete no go area!!

I had an unplanned spend - a friend came up unexpectedly,I don't see her very often, so I treated us both to lunch as she bought last time, that came to £19.95. I prdouly told her that was the first cash I had withdrawn since the first of the month, she was very impressed then I spent it all lol

And, I 'bought' lunch with some Boots points because when I went to make something the bread was mouldy and it was too warm for soup!! So not fantastic, but still much better than before. I am aiming to preserve the rest of my money until payday on 30th, then start all over again

Well done to all let's keep it up the end is in sight and think of that smiley face you will have when you look at your bank balance much better than any clothes...but probably not quite as good as...chocolate!! yum yum
