    1/6th kilo of gammon 67p
    1 onion 8p
Pinch of salt and dried herbs and pepper 1p
    2 x vegetable stock cubes 2p (Tesco value, 10pk 10p)
    1 pint of water.
Total meal cost=90p or 15p a head. Makes 6 servings.

Home made rolls to go with soup.
500g bread flour 19p (1.5k bought for 55p at Lidl)
teaspoon of salt and tbl spoon of sugar approx 3p
    300 ml of warm water
    7g of yeast 8p (8pk of 7g bought for 64p at Asda)
    tbl of oil 3p
Total cost= 33p makes 12 buns. Cost per bun just under 3p :D

I like to add a handful of seeds or cheese as well but this of course would effect the cost.

You may want to reduce the salt content of the meals as I am a salt addict. :o

    one onion 10p
3 carrots (big value bag) 10p

debone chicken (or if you cook it first in the slowcooker it just falls off with a work and this still works for this soup, you could throw the bones in for stock them fish them out, i hate real chicken stock so thats not for me)

cut everything up and add to pan with stock and salt and pepper add noodles at the end

*this is brilliant for lo chicken, i also use frozen brocolli and peppers but i have a wee chopper that cuts them really small so i cut them from frozen and add near tehe nd to stop it going mushy)
