Lush looking recipes on here, gang!!
    I'll just add my twopennyworth!

    PG's hm pizza.

For the base, I put some (!) bread flour, a splosh of olive oil, a pinch of salt, and a 3rd/half of a sachet of yeast, with some warm water. I use my elec hand whisk with the dough hooks, and add more flour/water as needed. Then, cover and leave for a few hours (or overnight in the fridge).

For the topping, I fear I have been a bit clever!!
The tomato sauce was made from some bendy veg. I bunged it all in a pan with tinned toms and herbs, cooked, whizzed it up, and then froze it in ice cube bags. I know that a medium pizza for us needs four cubes and a squirt of tom puree!
The toppings: value tinned pineapple (freezer the rest to use for another pizza), cocktail sausages (straight from the freezer), ham (chopped and from the freezer), sweetcorn (from the freezer), cooked chicken (freezer, lo from roasts), mozzarella (freezer)...

As you can see, this is mostly made up of stuff from the freezer, which makes it a real convenience meal for us. I get ys ham/chicken/sausages, and freezer all my pizza stuff on the same shelf, so I know exactly where it is when I want a pizza.

Sorry for the long post, just thought it would be useful.

I to am wondering again but this thread has developed into a wonderful one, so full of great ideas - yes I admit i am shamelessly taking the recipes down.
I will sit down later and try and come up with some reasonble bits but I only use sainsbobs and shops like B&m, Cool Trader and 99p shops for my shopping so my prices will have to be checked on my supermarket for maybe cheaper versions in other stores.

I know I do meals for pennies but so used to just grabbing things out the freezer I bought reduced then portioned off for use ( if i see some say frying steak down to £1 for 500g I will put it into 4 portions in freezer and just use one as basis for a meal for hubby and me say with reduced vegetables and potatoes or maybe do it with rice or pasta and some tomato puree ( I just bought from AF 850g tins of it for 99p each so that will do us around 7 meals as I normally use on of the 142g tins ( 25p)in a meal.).

This is why I have not helped much here as I tend to buy a bigger amount as cheap as possible (I never now buy meat, chicken, fish or even lamb unless its been reduced to amount I am willing to pay so some times I come home with quite a bit of meat or chicken etc and uses these - usually spend around £5 tops that is my limit for everything) so am finding it hard to work out costs if I didn't have a store cupboard to start with or everything is reduced price and at full price would beyond the OP and a lot of others including me- must try this.
