I've just done a 'virtual' shop on mrt's web site and its come in at £7.70 for stuff I know I'll eat and not small amounts either for the week of lunches and dinner. I'm not sure how they taste but the sausages have made it on there along with the packets of white sauce (want to make lasagna) and curry sauce for when I want a take away!
Well done on putting together some great menu ideas BB. I'm a lerker and felt I should come on in and say hello!
I agree that really its not that healthy (I've tried to put frozen veg and sweetcorn etc in there) but for a short term fix til more money comes in its not all bad!
Thanks to everyone for posting their ideas.[STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card

soworried thats fab some really good ideas, battering stuff is a good idea as it makes it more filling even tho it's not very healthy, oh that note anything can be bulked out with yorkshire puddings which cost very little to make.
We're having pasta bake for dinner, the sauce was completely made with reduced veg (peppers, mushrooms, tom and onions) and a few tons of value chopped tom with some mixed herbs and garlic salt, works out way cheaper than even value jars.along with the reduced cheese i keep buying grating and freezing it's gonna be a very cheap dinner (pasta was on amazon bulk buy and only 40p a bag)DEC GC £463.67/£450
