"Two-Course Dinner" clearly stated at the top.

I wouldn't have booked this package if I had known it included dinner.

You mean you wouldn't have booked this package if you didn't think you were going to get your stay for free?

OP: I would like to cancel a booking
HE: OK, sir, on what basis?
OP: The package is not as advertised.
HE: Can you clarify on what basis the package is not as advertised please?
    OP: It includes dinner.
HE: Not sure I understand, sir.
OP: I wanted hotel + parking. I did not want dinner.
HE: OK, sir, hotel+ parking+dinner is included in the package.
OP: I do not want dinner.
HE: ...sir, no one will make you eat the dinner.

That's like advertising a 42" TV then when you've bought it it says it's actually a 37" TV but the plastic round the edge makes it 42"

If you assume that the 'not as advertised' thing is in play...it would be a whole lot more like advertising a 37" TV then when you've bought it it turns out it's actually a 42" TV..which with the exception of those who do not have room for a 42" TV , would be absolutely delightful...getting more than you expected.

    Urm, but it's not free

I don't want dinner, they didn't advertise the dinner.

Forgive me for the thread-jack, but has anyone ever tried to claim their money back on the Premier Inn's "A great night's sleep or your money back" guarantee?

We stayed in one recently, and there was a lot of noise outside our first floor window. Someone revving a motorbike for ages at about 3.00 a.m. woke us up, and also several groups of passers-by, obviously the worse for wear and talking loudly, at various times in the night.

We were asked on checking out whether we'd had a good stay, and I said "well we didn't get much sleep due to a lot of noise outside", but the receptionist didn't offer to refund our money. I wonder now whether I should have asked for it, even though the disturbance was obviously beyond the hotel's control.

I once got a refund when the Air con was playing up(noisy) and i couldn't sleep, but i did go to reception in the middle of the night to complain.

There's people starving in Africa - they wouldn't say "no" to dinner.
