I was going to say that too but didn't want to contradict the OP's order of events.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Yes I expect a full refund
The advert is clearly miss-leading. In ANY of the screen shots NOWHERE does it say that it includes dinner.0 -
But it is clearly stated if you look at the details of your booking. I really don't see how you have a case at all.0
-
BUT it doesn't clearly state it until AFTER you've made the booking!
That's like advertising a 42" TV then when you've bought it it says it's actually a 37" TV but the plastic round the edge makes it 42"0 -
I booked Sofitel via Holiday Extras the other month then found exactly the same deal about £10 cheaper through a different company. Submitted my claim to them and they declined it as the other company was a booking agent for Holiday Extras offering a 10% discount so they wouldn't honor it, I argued my case but they just didn't care. I'll never use them again and I always use them for hotel, parking & exec lounges.0

What details, there are no further details.
The only link is one that say's arriving and departing, there is nothing that says FULL DETAILS or anything such.
Tell me, where does it say FURTHER DETAILS, or FULL DETAILS and where on any of the screen shots does it say INCLUDES DINNER0 -

But it does when I look at it. http://secure.holidayextras.co.uk/hotels2008/c/availability?ppcmsg=&agent=WEB1&product=hcp&request=21&profile=default&Referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.holidayextras.co.uk%2F&form_type=knot6&method=SchemeSearch&numCarParking=1&groupOrder=&lang=en&selectProduct=hcp&Location=LGW&terminal=N&Nights=1&ppts=0&RoomType%5B0%5D=D20&ArrivalTime=0600&ArrivalDate=15%2F08%2F12&DepartTime=2330&DepartDate=24%2F08%2F12&PostCode=&Email=&_memcached_expect_hit=1
Theres 2 rates on the page Room only at £209 + the dinner package at £214 which you booked.
Strange but my page set up is completely different from your screenshots.
I use Google Chrome.
Im actually going to book Sofitel myself (hotel only, different dates) + claim back via Holiday Extras.
I already have had 2 successful claims + 1 rejection prior to this so they do pay out0 -
And like i've said, I don't want or need dinner.
I wouldn't have booked this package if I had known it included dinner.0 -
But that's a different screen, a different layout.
I did a search on google for hotel + parking and got taken via a link to their website and that display.0
