I bought some Poundland Lilos for when I have to kip on the floor at Stansted, (ON AIRPORT and no shuttle bus to faff with but not sure how many stars) if I find some in the 99p shop do you think Poundland might pay me back the difference?

What details, there are no further details.

Yes there is. With each option offered there's a link called 'More Info'. Click that and you get all the details of your booking. In your case, that the rate includes dinner. You can see the link on your screenshot as well, it's a box with a big "i".

You mean the little icon with the location, pictures etc....

Not clear enough. If you advertise something it has to be plain text, you can't hide stuff behind icons.

Strange but my page set up is completely different from your screenshots.

Me too...which is why I wondered if his shots were from a mobile version of the website or something where they can't show quite as much detail on one screen...when I search I get the same as you.

Sofitel hotel plus two-course dinner + Parking at the Hotel

Yep, it's next to those. If you want to argue that it isn't clear enough that's fine but the details are there you simply failed to read them. So I still don't see how you have a case.

it's arguable that you got more than you were expecting for a price you were (presumably) happy to pay....so 'not clear enough' really doesn't apply, does it?

it's only if you thought that you would get it free under a price match that it becomes an issue...so seems like that was the order of events? :)

and it's not as thought there isn't enough room for them to put it in the text description.

But ferf, why should that make any difference?

    It does make a difference.
The average person is not booking the hotel expecting to get it for FREE.
They maybe want "BEST VALUE" but unlike you or I they are happy to pay £150+ for Sofitel + parking

The reason I suspect you are miffed, is because you expected a full refund + that is why you booked it.

Otherwise you would maybe like BOB with the lilo

You could of course argue that the package you have recieved is not as advertised + ask for a refund
