Hi
I need to get some weight off! I'm the same weight as the day I gave birth!!!! BTW that's a year ago!!!
I've got rid of s of the rubbish in the house but just have to prepare lunches and have something ready that will stop me reaching for the. Choccie bar at 4pm when I start to flag at work!
Not a fan of crudit!s and yogurts just don't suffice ( nothing does except chocolate!!)
Have cut down on my (drinking) coke slightly ( another thread)
Although not cut out completely! I need 1 x full fat and 1 x diet coke a day whereas I was drinking a huge bottle a day before.
If anyone can post some good links on here for healthy work lunches and snacks that would be great! I get lost in very long threads (patience isn't a strong point which is why "diets" don't work.
Good luck and here's to the 1 st stone!0 -
May I join please? I'd lost half a stone last month but its creeping back on and I need to lose more than a stone.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Hi TTGUAG and Unixgirluk.
Feel free to jump in! Weigh day is a Friday if you want to join up to that?0 -
I haven't exactly started the healthy eating yet, it's not a diet, it's healthy eating. But in the past month or so I have lost about 4 pounds, so that's good. I'm now 11 stone! 2.5 stone overweight, so definitely need to get that back down. My first aim is to get to single figures, so 9 stone 13 pounds.
I need to change my batteries in my digital scales though, as they're more accurate. I'm currently using the mechanical ones.0 -
I need to lose about 10st but a stone would be a very good start!
Been going swimming 3x a week but am going to try for 5x this week. And keeping an eye on what i'm eating and cutting the calories. managed a 4lbs loss last week but only 0.5 lbs this week so feeling somewhat demotivated. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Don't be hard on yourself you still lost weight, remember muscle is heavier than fat so it might be that your weight loss slows down but your inch loss speeds up if that makes sense.
I've already had breakfast this morning (rice crispies) and I'm trying to convince myself I not still hungry!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Good morning everyone, its great to see some new people here this morning
Sharon- Well done on your 4lb weightloss this month, every single lb is a step in the right direction
Messedup- well done on your 4lb weightloss too! I am incredibly body conscious so havent been swimming for AGES..but i bought 2 bikinis in the tesco sale (£3 each!) so am going to take the plunge and take the kids swimming on Friday. I have got a free ticket vis british gas, even though i am not a customer: https://www.britishgasswimming.co.uk/
I can understand why you are feeling demotivated, but hang on in there are the weight will start do decrease, and if it doesnt then you will be losing inches and fat and gaining muscle.
I am hoping that i will be able to get down to a size 12 before xmas.
Menu today:
Breakfast (currently eating it!): granola with coconut yogurt
Snack-Sugar free jelly
Lunch- Beans on toast
Snack- Fruit
Dinner- Rice & Veggie Salad
Will also be aiming to increase my water intake today.0 -
Afternoon all
Right, so it is definitely on the wagon as of now. At least the weather is lovely. Got a mass of errands to run this evening after work but will then see if I can help OH out with the garden reconstruction (demolition!) as my exercise later.
:wavey: Welcome to everyone who has joined since I last posted.
I don't know what I'm having for dinner yet, but today so far has been:
B: 2 cups of coffee with soya milk (don't eat breakfast)
S: Banana & 2 hard boiled eggs
L: Chicken & mozarella salad
So a good start. AND there is no wine in the house! Must.Stay.Strong.
Hope everyone is having a good day. Very envious of those who now have time off for the school hols!Proud to be a moneysaver0 -
Hi everyone!
we have had a lazy day really! Spent an hour down the woods having a lovely walk, and paddling in the river, but thats about it. I have told the kids that they are not allowed on the laptop/wii/TV as it's such a nice day.
My oldest wasnt too happy about it, but tough!
We have decided to go to the beach tomorrow. We could go to the closest one, so we save petrol money, but the one where we used to love so much much better, so we are off there. Its about an hours drive, but well worth it. Just got to be careful about not spending too much money on petrol over the holidays!
We will be taking a packed lunch, so i can keep an eye on what we have to eat, but will no doubt buy an ice cream.
Hope you are all outside enjoying the lovely hot weather!0 -
Ohhh WTB, you lucky thing. I've been at work all day and will be all week.
Well, dinner is sorted. Stopped off at Aldi and ended up with some 'Frickadellen' pork meatballs which I'll serve with salad and rice for OH.
I've also cut up carrot sticks and got hummus to take in for tomorrow
You definitely have to be prepared though! No slobbing out at home - got in after shopping & running errands & made my lunch & got everything together so I am ready.
The scales I ordered are ready to collect now, so I can finally figure out my starting weight and join in the Friday weigh ins
Have a lovely evening all.Proud to be a moneysaver0
