Thank you everyone for your kind words. My lovely big family has gone from 7 to 4 within 2 months, so a very sad time. But me and the kids have had an amazing summer full of fun things, albeit some pricey ones. We had a shopping trip out today, followed by dinner out, even my ex came as a last "family" supper so to speak.

Spend of £9.70 in Mr W on kitchen roll, mangetout, bread and ham for lunch and squash (concious that I'm drinking too much of this - I drink water at work, but always want squash at home. My water at home, even when filtered doesn't taste nice). Also spend £1.09 in the corner shop on diet coke and chewing gum.

When I wrote this I didn't get my receipt out so wrote down what I thought was from memory - looked at receipt and I actually spent £5.70, not £9.70 in Mr W yesterday. I was thinking when writing down that it was a big high! :rotfl: Will edit siggy accordingly

Will need rice today and that's it.

Hope everyone has a good day! :)

I had a spend on Friday, can't find the receipt, but it included pjs for the kiddies. I will sift through my bag and find it later. Think it was about £20 not including the non-groceries. Been to a wedding this weekend so am all confused :D

Going on holidays Friday, so if we can preserve milk, shouldn't need another spend...

Katy, thinking of you today, must be heart wrenching. X

    Morning,
Katie, I am thinking of you today. Stay strong. xx

I have pulled out 3 types of fish today. Some YS coley, YS cornish hake and YS smoked haddock. I will make them in to a fish pie for dinner and serve with brocolli.
Breakfast is YS lemon and raisin pancakes with fromage frais. Lunch I am undecided yet, I really feel like a take away so I might recreate KFC wraps.
No shopping today unless I look for YS later and they have something I can't refuse.:D
I have just woken up so I am playing catch up this morning.

Well I haven't added it all up the last few days, but I have definitely gone over budget. It was that blinking RTC saucisson sec that did it

Pretty much written this month off now and going to just start again next. It looks to be a shorter month for us plus I'll be away for a week and not spending for me then, so I will still reduce budget a bit and try to get it under that.
