Well so much for not shopping for a week, spent £41 in @ldi. Fridge fit to burst.

Need to get some bits for birthday presents tomorrow so will have to try avoid groceries at all costs...

Popped into Wilkos today for some toiletries and a packet of dog chews and spent £8.00

A visit to Aldi for some wine for the weekend (different budget) had me spending £3.08 on extra bread and creme fraiche. Bread's just vanishing with the girls on holiday and their friends and boyfriend staying over. Not good for my grocery challenge :( Signature updated.

Wasn't intending to start the month with a spend, but Lidl are doing a special on organic minced beef so I picked up a few packs, and some of their cream cheese for sambos (we're getting through a lot of sandwich fillings at the moment). €15.09 spent.

Need to go out again tomorrow as we're having our usual group of friends over on Friday and am out of gluten free pasta and bread flour. Cooking for coeliacs is expensive :(

Aw - thank you! I WAS with Nice-New-Man when it happened :o, and he was brilliant!! Followed the ambulance is his car, stayed with me in A&E, made sure I was okay, got water, pushed me in the wheelchair etc.

I remember muttering to the ambulance man (who thought he was my husband) that I had only known him 5 weeks and what must he think of me for collapsing like that :D:rotfl::D

It was all HIGHLY embarrassing but Nice-New-Man couldnt have been better or kinder or more concerned :A

Well Fozzie he sounds like a keeper ;) What a sweetheart :)

I spent £3.74 in C00p on potatoes, rtc green beans and some wine gums for our journey to the airport on Saturday (family tradition :o).

Also needed toothpaste but they only had Sen$odyne so I went to the pharmacy next door. Got 2 x colgate for £4 - decided to get these from 2nd purse. Also needed a tubigrip for my ankle as I was bitten a week ago and it got infected. ABs are kicking in now but it aches and is still swollen :(

Off to get the dinner on. Have a good evening everyone.

Fozzie and Coxy - you are in the wars lately!!
NNM sounds very nice - he can stay! ;)
Coxy - glad getting better, slowly but surely...

I've just cycled to town and back, with the aim of having a mooch around the charity shops. It was lovely really, and something I don't so often enough. I bought myself a really nice dress, just have to lose a bit of weight, and I may be able to wear it to ds' christening! Lots of walking, and a 5 mile cycle - good exercise for the day!

I got something out of the freezer for dinner tonight. Before I got it out, I thought it was lasagne, but then as I got it out I saw there was no pasta, so I'm off to see what it is now it's defrosted! Freezer surprise!

Ex picked up the children today - I was supposed to drop them off, but he was passing and offered, so I haven't used the car at all today. Yet. Just have to find something good on telly so I'm not tempted to go smm-ing (super market mooching) after dinner...

    Catch you later!

Hi guys. Just a quick catch up. Busy busy busy of late :(
STILL haven't reset sig. Did 2 small essential shops but need to trawl through handbag for receipts first.
Went quite far afield on a field trip today with kids. Totally famished on way back despite taking provisions for dinner. OH planted the idea of picking up 'chippy chips' on way home. I resisted!
Instead I cut up some sprouting spuds in a jiffy. Grilled some fish fingers that were 20 for £1 recently in morrisons and opened up a couple of tins of value mushy peas (4p in Tesco at the moment!). Bread n butter finished it off. Ready in 20 mins from walking in the door and a lot cheaper than fish, chips n peas from the chippy. Another victory!
Get better soon fozzy n coxy!
Off to Ts now for some milk. Hoping for a few whoopsies. Catch you laters
    :)

    Turns out it was bolognese!

Good job I bought some new 'chinese' tubs in the 99p shop today! I can't stand not know what I've got, yet I always put it in there thinking I'll remember!:o
