Morning peeps! I've not had much time for posting recently. I haven't even reset my signature for this week yet.
Thought I'd share a couple of tips with you....
1)Heron food is selling 2 kerrygold butter blocks for £1.50!!! 75p for a branded butter is pretty awesome!!!
2)Tesco are selling PG Tips Hint of Earl Grey 80s for 50p. They are usually £2.38 or something like that.
I have just had one with a homemade blueberry muffin and it is really refreshing!!!!!
I always stock up on grocery essentials like this when they are on offer. Spend to save, and all that :j:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Eek! £45.80. Spent in Mr A. Went for bits and bobs for going away to caravan for couple of days from tomorrow.
Some of that was clothes (they were reducing things to 1-3pounds) I got an £18 short sleeve chunky knit cardi for £1. Best thing is it fits great and is a size 14-16 (I'm a 20-22 lol). Got dds a few play clothes dresses and tops for £1 each and a pair of shoes for eldest in next size up for £3. Just in case she has a spurt when I've no money for proper school shoes!
Will update in a min. Including the clothes as I'd never have bought them if I wasn't in the SMNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -

Sticking to my budget religiously, had to buy refreshments for myself and my friend while out shopping today, however that gets evened out as next time it will be her turn, so it all works out in the end.
In fact, I am going to write my daily spend in my booklet now and might even knock together a spreadsheet to record the GC progress! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Yes I always do this as there's only 2 of us, so I can just bake 2 at a time - just freeze on a tray in balls then put in a food bag once frozen. Only takes a couple of minutes longer and stops the dreaded cookie spread!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Spends have gone adrift in lots of areas in the last couple of months and we're planning on having some work done in the next couple of months, so that'll cost ££ and then it's the run up to Christma...!
Can I set my budget at £475 please. Runnning for the calendar month and I'll try and post regularly to keep me on track, That includes a week away s/c in a tent - so I've increased it for that!!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Another nsd today, so I'm off to declare on the July thread (once I've worked out the total!), and then I'm officially joining in tomorrow! My budget will be 'as little as possible'!! We're away for 7 or 8 nights, at different points in the month, so won't need food from gc for that, but then it's the hols, so it goes up. Well, this year I'm determined it won't go up! We'll have lovely picnics with what I already have in, and continue to use up the stuff that has been stockpiled. My aim is £40, with a stock-up bonus of £40 if needed. That way, if I see an amazing bargain that I can't possibly walk past (I know what I'm like!!), I can still get it. I'll try that this month, and if it works, I'll roll it out for next month too.Grocery challenge for family of three - me, dd(12) and ds(11), feeding dp 2 or 3 x a week too. Only food, not toiletries. Jan £87.97/£100 Feb £0/£100
