Morning all, today is going to be a catch up kinda day, ds is still pretty tired, I have lots of bits and pieces to sort, so we're not planning on going anywhere this morning, I'm going to get the flat sorted and he's having a Toy Story dvd marathon on the sofa
The flat isn't actually too bad (except ds bedroom which I'll tackle today), but I want to catch up on little bits like sorting the post pile etc. I have already sorted my inbox and done several surveys.
I also need to make sure ds has a bath today and a cooked lunch as he's off to the crims at teatime so won't get a proper dinner tonight as they'll be travelling.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Morning all, ds went off fine last night, and I had a lovely surprise, my best mate had bought us front row tickets to see Starlight Express, so that was a really lovely evening
I'm having a quick clearup this morning before meeting a friend for coffee at 10, then home for some lunch and then meeting Mr S at 2 when he finishes work, then we're going shopping (I need something to wear to a wedding on Friday), then a nice evening together without either of the kidsMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Hello all, been shopping this morning for some last bits for holiday; I got me 3 t-shirts and ds bought himself a Tottenham kit with his birthday money (can you guess who Mr S supports??)
I also spent silly money on aftersun, baby wipes, conditioner, shower gel etc to take with us
I also counted our holiday money boxes this morning; I have £98 in my £2 pot and ds has £63 & 20 Euros in hisStarting to get really excited now, one week to go

So far I have returned lots of bits and pieces to their rightful homes and the place looks fairly tidy, so at least I can get started on cleaning etc. I have also stripped both beds and the machine is doing its thing for the first time of many today. Dishwasher has been unloaded and refilled, so the place almost looks presentable already, now its a case of getting on with the detailed bits :cool:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Why does it feel like I've done loads but hardly anything can be crossed off my list yet??
I have remade both beds, cleaned and hoovered the lounge and hall, done another load of washing, tidied the airing cupboard, emptied the fridge, cleared a bit more of ds bedroom (has to be done in bits, can't face it all in one go, and am now about to clean and hoover my bedroom. The bathroom can wait until baths are done, no point doing it first, the kitchen is coming along in bits and pieces but the washing mountain is making it look messy regardless
