    I am excited, I will miss him but even though I seem mad about him it is quite a chilled kinda relationship; he goes out with his mates lots, we meet up when we're both free, it's not as full on as it probably seems :D

    is it just the two of you going on holiday or are you going in a group? I have just sent off for me and my 8 year old's passports and are contemplating our first holiday abroad just the two of us. Probably Menorca because its very young child friendly. Well done on the car passing its mot. That must have been a weight off your mind xxx

    Yep, just the two of us :) Some bits will be harder that way, ds isn't good at making new friends so will constantly be nagging me to play in the pool with him etc, but I'm not worried about it being just us at all, I'm really looking forward to it now :D

    Today is ds birthday, Mr S came round last night as he wanted to see ds open his presents this morning :) We had a nice evening together last night and then I dropped him at work this morning and we set off for the Harry Potter Studio Tour, it was really really good and ds was perfectly behaved :j :j

    Back home now, just chilling for a bit, then ds has football training at 6.15 then we're meeting mum for dinner afterwards :)

    Morning all, sorry for abandoning you again, another good weekend with Mr S ;)
    We took the kids to the funfair on saturday and bowling yesterday, I am spending crazy amounts of money and really need to start reigning it in.

    Today is a housework day, the place is in need of some serious housework, and also catching up with paperwork etc.

    Ooooh I'm seriously envious about the Harry Potter studio tour - was it amazing? My 2 would just love it, but I am way too scared to drive there:o
    Sounds like your summer hols are going perfectly so far....and a trip abroad to look forward to as well, brilliant!
    I really need to sort out a new signature!

    It was really good Pixie, I'm not massively into H.P, but it was well set out and not overcrowded and not tacky as hell :D It was easy to get to, only a couple of miles off the M25.

    Today has been a housework kinda day, ds had a wobbly tonight, think he's hugely tired so we're going back to the normal routine which has gone by the wayside slightly over the last couple of weeks.

    Today has finally managed to be a nsd, and I won £4 on a games offer, so actually better off today than yesterday ;)

    I've got quite a lot done this morning but not much off my list :cool:

    So far we have ;

    changed my bed, cleaned the bathroom, tidied and cleaned my bedroom, done the ironing, ds has done 4 thankyou letters, dishwasher loaded and switched on, two loads of washing done, hall cupboard tidied, kitchen tidied, lounge tidied, hoovered through (except for ds room - cant yet see the carpet :o ).

    I'm about to have a shower then we'll go and do the food shopping and some of the other jobs that are out and about.
