It's lovely to see you back BenBen. I used to read you diary all the time
Are you still in your flat? Or do you have a house now. It was the 'cleaning of the gutters' that threw me :rotfl:
Sounds like you have a lovely settled life now and you come across as really happy. I'm so happy for you.
Is numpty Ex-OH still on the scene or did you manage to side swipe him into oblivion :rotfl::rotfl:
Good luck with all your fitness challenges.

Hello Southern Girl
Yep, we're still in the flat, its a bit confusing, basically there's a shop with a flat above it and we're above that in the roof, so we have a normal roof/gutters etc, but need to use the decking of the people downstairs to reach them. Those people don't speak to anyone here for some reason, so we had to wait for them to go away on holiday so we could sneak down and put the ladder there
The ex is still around, still sees ds every other weekend but I have almost nothing to do with him, very occasionally we speak on the phone but that's about it. He does pay his maintenance each month (although I don't believe its the right amount but hey ho  ).
This week has gone well with the fitness challenges but yesterday I went for a run with ds and Mr S and when I got back my ankle was throbbing. It is still hurting, I have iced it, eleveated it and all that stuff but its not sorted it so today will be a lazy day I reckon.
1. To lose 10lbs 1.5lbs gone
2. Run 86.5 miles 15 miles run
3. Cycle 300 miles 12.5 miles done
4. Walk 800,000 steps 131,392 steps done
Ds is off on a school residential this morning until tuesday teatime, he's all packed and ready to go. Mr S and I have a rare day to ourselves, we are taking Mum to the burial ground as its Dads 2nd anniversary tomorrow, but other than that we should be able to chill a lot today. We were planning a decent bike ride but probably not now due to my ankle.
Yesterday we got the car cleaned inside and out, one of those jobs I have been putting off for ages, we also finally managed to phone Sky and get an engineer booked for next sunday as its not working and the premier league season is approaching pretty quick now and I cant possibly miss any of it now Bournemouth are there :j :j

So the summer holidays are here at last :j :j Yesterday was a funny day, lovely and chilled - we finished work at 12.20 then had a huge bbq in the afternoon followed by the pub for the evening, but it also involved several goodbyes that were hard
My ankle that was hurting last weekend is still not right, I've hardly been able to walk on it for most of the week, so no running has been done and even my 10,000 steps a day has gone out of the window  I think I might have to totally revise my fitness schedule for the summer as it is not likely to happen like that now :cool:Mortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

Happy holidays!
We finished yesterday too so I'm just loving the thought of 6 weeks off....
Do you have one of your famous holiday lists to post?:D I have lots of things I want/need to do so I really should get them written down somewhere to try motivate me.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Sorry Pixie, I did write a list but as we're already half way through the holidays it seems daft posting it now. I am pottling through it but its all a bit half-hearted. Currently I've got some stuff going on which means some changes ahead - after lots of thinking I've decided me and Mr S are going to split. He is currently looking for somewhere to rent, we haven't told the kids yet although I think my ds has pretty much guessed. Its not that we argue or anything, I just think that fundamentally we are too different. If I'm honest I'm looking forward to getting back in control of a few things, and there will be a brand new sprakly diary to come soon.
For today though, my ds is off to his Dads this afternoon for a week, Mr S and his son have gone fishing with his mate and I have an afternoon threesome with the sofa and Sky SportsIts day one of the new season, I am the most excited I've ever been, I still can't quit believe we're in the Premier League :j :j
